What were the we thinking putting him in during week 16? It’s a bad idea to put your backup in who has potential to be a rising star this late in the season especially after loosing lots of games consecutively. That will definitely derail his confidence. But will Grier, use this to learn from it and get better. Keep ur head up kid.
It makes no sense! Prior to this week the Panthers official position was ostensibly that he’d be broken in the traditional way, by sitting out games and learning from the starter for the first entire season. Its inconceivable how they could do this with the season already lost!
He was a third round pick, we deserve to see what Grier can do. The season was already lost and we need to evaluate players

Spent a 3rd round pick on him with a bunch of questions in our QB room. Might as well see what we got instead of letting him waste on the bench. Plus he’s under contract for longer and most likely will be a backup for longer than Allen so get him some reps. Plus Allen has played awful
