Mike Zimmer’s biggest tendencies that are limiting him are trying to hold onto players too long, and not allowing the people with starter potential any playing time! If you give the backup people playing time (not just special teams) they will respond and will perform much better! Dru Samia has never been a backup player until drafted by the Vikings! I think you will respond a few at least give him weekly playing time on the offensive line, maybe alternating with Pat Elflein! Pat Elflein seems to get run down towards the end of the game, I think it would have been good for both players last year!

This year they have to concentrate on defense in the draft. Joseph,Griffen,Alexander,Waynes,Rhodes,Weatherly ,Waynes and Harris could all be gone. Zimmer and his coaches will have their work cut out for them. If Bradbury,Samia,Smith and Udoh can step up then hopefully the offense will be fine. I see a lot of 35-30 games early until the young pieces on defense get settled in. The window on defense closed last year they needed fresh blood.
