The coaches and organization didn’t like him? 😂 Well they drafted him in the first say they liked him initially. Any chance they didn’t like what they saw from him on a day to day basis? I mean I’ve never heard of a coach not liking a promising young Qb who works hard and prepares like a pro. Perhaps Haskins was none of those things

@jw1 reports on draft day came out saying that half of the organization didn’t want to draft him, his head coach his rookie year got fired in the middle of the season. Then his second year his new HC dislikes him. He had no mentor, all of these things can crush the development of a rookie QB, he even said himself that he got the chance here to learn the fundamentals. Washington is a poorly run franchise and is very different then us

@jw1 don’t wanna start a fight but judging a quarterback on his rookie season on a mediocre Washington team isn’t fair. I mean look at stafford and you’ll see how a quarterback can 180 when he was a decent team

Tyler Huntley may be a good option as well. He put up similar numbers to Lamar while he was out

@jefffowlerr I agree he def has been more consistent with his pocket presence but I think that’s only because mason seems to get greedy and look down the field Haskins throws a lot of check downs or slants

Support who? Canada? Yeah ok not sure if you noticed? But if they had an offensive coordinator who knew how to make an offensive game plan depending on the opponent that’s what would make and turn this team into a juggernaut? Imagine having a good well rounded offense to go with that friggin defense with TJ Watt and Minka Fitzpatrick and Cam Heyward and I was also hoping that Joe Haden would come back but in the end I wouldn’t count on it because Joe is still a very talented cornerback and probably had his best season as a Steeler this year and it’s a shame that ultimately Joe would be smart to bail out and cash in during free agency the man deserves it !!! He is an even better human being!!! God bless

@Blues Guitar Fan Don’t be shocked when they either announce a huge 1 for 1 swap in an NFL trade ? Because in my opinion the future starting QB is not on the current roster !!! If the Steelers don’t try and drop a bombshell by making a major stir in the AFC North just to be able to keep up because after all these year’s of beating the rest of the division and having so many winning season’s to not be able to even win 1 playoff game and then watch them only move back to the end of the NFL draft order and there was wayy too many seasons that were wasted like that but the even more obvious problem for the Mike Tomlin era and that would be his Achilles heel is the choices he has made to be his offensive coordinator in specific I mean I didn’t like the way Keith Butler ran the Steelers Defense either!!! I think that was the best thing that could have happened to the Steelers to this point anyway? I also hated his blitz packages and how he tried way too often in big games to call all out blitzes specifically against Cleveland last season including the playoff loss to the Brown’s . Butler made. Baker Mayfield look like Tom Brady for a night in 3 separate incidents and games. Hopefully he makes a better choice than he did with Canada??? I would love for just 1 time that Mike Tomlin and Kevin Colbert to actually take their time put actual work into finding the right defensive coordinator and not just throw the next guy up thing especially with so much on the line with what they ultimately decide to do and in my opinion if I was Mike Tomlin I would actually begin to worry about his job security because his decisions to bring along a new defensive coordinator and in my opinion they should replace Canada with a new Offensive coordinator and give Canada his previous job back as QBs coach. ? Canada is definitely not the correct OC. He doesn’t have enough experience for 1 and 2 he couldn’t even put a gameplan together 1 game??? 1 that made sense anyway or worked for that matter!!!
