Puzzled Peanut Brain

Next up, Jacksonville! We’ll see if Ryan can end that losing streak as well 🤞

Lee33

Two perfectly placed touchdown passes that were dropped.

    Lumineer_ 3

We do really good in the red zone to allow that! But sadly we couldn’t finish y’all out and gave y’all the opportunity to come back😓

@Al Bundy my dad said the EXACT same thing… he shanked the field goal just like vanderjact did

    David Murphy

@Al Bundy he’s much, much worse than Vanderjagt.

    Fresh MJC

@Al Bundy funny because he only played 5 games last year

    Luke Gramith

as a falcons fan, im rooting for the colts this year just so Matt Ryan can experience one competent O line and defense in his career

Dylan O'Gara

those miscues will be fixed glad to see our team finished strong once those mistakes are cleaned up look out NFL we gotta get a better kicker tho

    toe knee Toe

Dude… I watched him miss it in person today.

    Bleed Blue

Everyone cries about frank and playcalling and when it comes down to it….ol rigo….ravens game last year bring back any memories? I guess he missed a 33 yarder in preseason vs bills… wowzers

    Jim Irsays Sponsor

    Shoulda kept Verity

    rmac 864

@toe knee Toe bro we get it, you were at the game. I’m sure that makes you really excited, but lots of people attend NFL games lol.

zen Edwards

He should’ve had 3 td’s, only thing Matt missed on was the exchanges with Kelly. He’ll clean it up

    toe knee Toe

I was at the game today. He dropped the football 2 under center.

    steven 182

I am sure the Center and the QB are going to work on that this week.

    Trolling Them Softly

@toe knee Toe That’s what OP said.

Joaquin Fernandez

I saw Paris Campbell standing around during plays, instead of blocking for other receivers like he should.

    Worm G 340

Lol he to fragile to block he need to just stand there 🤣🤣🤣#coltsnation

Zac S.

I love how he never flamed another guy taking responsibility when he did mess it up, and respecting the other team

    Dan

Carson Wentz did that all the time. That doesn’t win games.

    Tony Wright

Matt Ryan never will blame a teammate for something that went wrong he’s your classic leader that takes responsibility, I’m a Falcons fan and I miss him in Atlanta

    Trolling Them Softly

@Dan Wentz is garbage. And yeah, he had a good game yesterday against…the Jaguars. Don’t worry, he’ll turn back into a pumpkin soon enough.

Sean Anderson

First game. We will get it together

Nothing killed me more today than watching two perfectly placed passes being dropped in the endzone that would have won us the game in regulation. (Pierce and Dulin)

Receivers not named Pittman need to be doing some serious work on catching passes this week in practice. Especially Pierce! Ryan couldn’t have placed most of his passes any better had he walked them out there himself and handed the ball to them, yet they dropped several.

As far as I could tell, Ryan played a great game. Sure he was a little off in the beginning, but he really settled in nicely. The pick was more of a great play by the defender IMO. After that, he had a couple of overthrows but the rest of his game was flawless. Solid decision making and crisp passes. Just needs to clean up his connection with Kelly, but that should be an easy fix. Looking forward to a much better performance overall next week.

    Drums Of Berk

@Tyler I’ll meet in the middle. An inexperienced drop. Had Pierce played better, Dulin wouldn’t not have been put in that position. However, Dulin is one of the fastest guys on the team, so he needs these situational moments to get better.

The whole game was off because the first couple of drives players were running into each other and it looked like the team didn’t know the season had started. It felt like the 4th preseason game.

    Tyler

@Drums Of Berk much respect and couldn’t agree more. It was an all around lack luster performance with flashes of good from all. Disappointing to end the way it did but let’s hope they can respond this weekend.

    Drums Of Berk

@Tyler this will be the true test. Because if they can beat Jacksonville is the season already won? No matter who the colts play we always play up or down to the competition we are playing.

    And you’re welcome

    Dame

@Christian Soper every other? It was twice and he played 70+ snaps..I think that’s far from “every other” maybe them wrs should catch those wide open td passes

    MCFC17

You guys should have went after his boy Julio Jones surely he would not have dropped those passes

MR. BEASLEY

This is so weird not seeing matt Ryan as a Falcon I gotta use to it lol

Jason Holland

I’ve defended “Specs” since he became our kicker, but I can’t anymore. 2 kickoffs out of bounds and another missed game winning field goal. He chokes under pressure.

    Bleed Blue

    I’m done with him lol

    Pmo710

You could tell he was nervous when he was preparing for the game-winning field goal you could see the fear in his bifocal eyes

    Jim Irsays Sponsor

    @Pmo710 😂😂😂

    Jamel Ramseur

I’m done with him and Reich

steven 182

I look at the Colts with cautious optimism.

    Benjamin Hartman

Same. For a crappy game, Matt still looked in control. That’s encouraging

steven 182

I felt like I was watching a playoff game today. I was more tired than the players I think😆

Yumi Tokushige

His speech is encouraging, even to me in general.

    Carl B

Matty is cool under pressure, well-spoken and polished. Tons of heart and good health! 👍

Zack Gurske

Frank gave them 6 points by not taking field goals once again. If frank was coaching the Bucs they would’ve tied the cowboys last night.

big blue 32

I still have faith in my Colts

Jaemz Voss

I’m glad the colts community isn’t blaming it all on the qb, Matt is a standup guy but those balls being dropped speak for themselves

Transistor Zen

“Was it encouraging to know that most of your wounds were self-inflicted?”…My first thought after hearing that question was “what the hell kind of question was that? It’s encouraging that you played so poorly that you beat yourselves?”…and then Matt Ryan said “Yeah!”

John m

Matt we miss you so much ! You would have beaten the saints today ! Colts fans are lucky ! I even taped the game yesterday!” The filthy birds were filthy !

Xpect

I love that Matt doesn’t get fixated on individual performance and praising other players. He always reverts back to the “team” and how it’s a “team effort”. He understands it takes a lot more than just one person to perform well. And he takes accountability as any great leader should.

Dylan Beguelin

Super excited for Colts nation this year, Matty Ice and JT leading us to the super bowl
