Sept. 11 | Head Coach Frank Reich Postgame Interview – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
Shahin G

Frank refusing to run JT when it counts on 4th down is inexcusable. Power run down the middle…

    Matt Davis

    @Ted Yed I don’t know the stats, but I’m going to guess zero…zero times…

    Wax Pack

@Ted Yed i still say. STOP going for it on 4th down. Idgaf what play.

    Ted Yed

@Wax Pack I agree with you, but if he’d going to flat out refuse to take the points, then at least try a play that has a chance in hell of succeeding

    Ted Yed

@Matt Davis precisely. As soon as I saw the formation I knew the play was doomed

    carrite

@Wax Pack – Going for it inside the 5 was the right call. The idiot play that spread Ryan out of the play on a wildcat run was the problem.

Joaquin Fernandez

If the Colts lose at Jacksonville next week, Irsay should fire Reich in the locker room after the game. Can we get a kicker that can make one when it counts? This game should have been an easy win. THIS TEAM WAS UNPREPARED!

    Barbara Chieppo

Frank still wants to keep Rodrigo as our kicker. Shows his stupidity.

    Matthew Vorndran

The dude can barely kick a 50 yarder

    Walter Mackey

Dude I was so mad I was thinking about starting a protest by Lucas Oil Stadium demanding he gets fired.

Nav454

What I saw was another slow start to the season, but they fought back in the 4Q which they never did last season. The numbers they put up can win games, but the mistakes have to be corrected. I’ll take those numbers every game minus the penalties, Blankenship, snap fumbles, and cute play calls on ground-and-pound downs.

    Matt Candler

Whatever makes you feel better, dude.

Ian Stigler

This team starts slow every game and has for years. That comes down to game planning. Ive seen enough to know he is a coach incapable of winning big. This should be his final year in Indy!

    James Boguske

Teams play not the coaches also that’s irsay call not yours lol or anyone else’s

    Mega Zip One

I think he should have been gone last year.

    Matt Davis

@James Boguske Players run the plays that the coach tells them to. Regardless of talent level, play calling is something that is clearly seen, and it’s been obvious from Frank since 2018.

    James Boguske

@Matt Davis lol your one of those nerative following civilians huh lol. When you own a NFL ball club or your a gm who makes those calls your opinion will matter. Facts are I’ve been a sports star in Indiana so I know the job of coaches bud. My point is if the players don’t like the plays or the lack of results they can change it or did you forget Peyton used to change plays all the time lol and he had the best OC in mora to ever do it. It’s the QB job to make the call on the field period

    Ian Stigler

@James Boguske Whats your opinion this week?

JQ Farms

How can you be disappointed when you never take the points? 4 years of absolute boneheaded play calling.

Worm G 340

Use Sam Ehllinger in the red zone like Saints use Taysom Hill

    carrite

    T H I S .

    DSR317

I wish they would…i was saying that last year.

Barbara Chieppo

“In my mind, he’s our kicker.” Good Lord.

    The Maker

Same thing he said on Vinny’s last year. Refusing to call out his bad kicks or how bad he was playing overall at the kicker position.

    Dan

That doesn’t really mean anything. The question is can ypu improve with a guy that already didn’t make a team?

    Tj Brown

    He needs to go

    carrite

    The problem is your mind.

    Barbara Chieppo

    @Dan Can’t do any worse.

Brandon Console

Fire Frank for being stubborn and not taking points in the first half. How can you keep a head coach that can’t get a team ready to win a game! Please hire a competent coach!

A smile on my face but a Demon inside

sean payton looks pretty good, but im pretty sure he already has a deal done with Dallas for next year

    Brandon Console

@A smile on my face but a Demon inside I agree our team would run like a smooth oil machine if Sean Payton was our coach!

    Brian Jenkins

That’s Riverboat Reich for you! He’s taken more points OFF the board in the last 5 years than I can count!

Brennan Hartman

2 out of bounds kickoffs. 1 roughing the punter. 1 fumbled punt return. Missed the game winner. Special teams grade F—

Grinch

Hold yourself accountable Frank. Enough with the LITTLE LEAGUE mentality!! For the love of god.

Just As Good

He always says “felt good about this. Felt good about that.” “I’m proud of this. I’m Proud of that.” Not what I’m looking for anymore as a Colts fan.

    Ted Yed

Yeah, you don’t always have to find the silver lining after each game.

    TheGraffitiPlayground

Reich is a steady emotion guy he will never change

Tell Hand

When they threw a flee flicker beginning of the third quarter, that’s the moment I knew we were being out coached.

To be Frank, Frank needs to be better. We can’t have slow starts. Frank is on the hot seat. Irsay has his hand over the button to let Frank go.

Tyler Bickell

Bottom line: if you can’t make a 42 yard fg to win, you need a new kicker

    TheGraffitiPlayground

They will keep him because he’s a good guy

    DSR317

    @TheGraffitiPlayground 😂 u nailed it.

The Dude Man

So friggin sick of Frank not taking easy points and leaving them on the field.

A smile on my face but a Demon inside

with the AFC as loaded as it is, this kind of performance will not get it done. We are looking at maybe having a winning record at the end of the year but certainly missing the playoffs. The only way the colts make the playoffs is by winning the division. The titans losing to the Giants is the only win the Colts got this weekend

Jim Irsays Sponsor

“In my mind hes our kicker… but on the roster…” 😂

MDW

Winning is a state of mind. Colts (players/coaching/etc.) havent been in that state for some time now.

Sky

That 4th & 2 at the goal was ridiculous. Frank wants to prove he’s smart sometimes and that was the same kind of thinking that told him “Carson is our QB”

Humza Rehmane

My concern is that issues that have been plaguing us for years are being repeated here:

1. Not being able to beat a weaker team in week 1
2. Struggling in the red zone
3. Going for it unnecessarily on 4th down
4. Not putting the ball in the hands of your playmakers in key situations
5. Poor wide receiver play
6. Kicking issues

These mistakes are being repeated now for a few years and not being corrected

oxIDBMAD2xo [ps4]

Cut Blankenship. Period. The colts fans have had to have too many heart break losses after his misses.
