@Tom Grubbe it has everything to do with it, he’s a football player at heart. He cares a lot, I applaud that. In my opinion, pace never cared like this.
@Collin Smith You’re misreading is emotion as caring about the Bears. His voice started to break up when he mentioned his wife and kids about one minute into his prepared speech. That’s not a knock in him but it’s not really a sign of caring for the Bears. I’d like to see him pound his fist on the table saying “If you don’t give this team 100% you are gone!”.
I love this guy! He’s obviously smart or he would have rose up the ranks to where he is today. Some people have it and some don’t. He is building through the draft. I didn’t hear Pace or Nagy talk about winning the division. The old regime talked collaboration and improving (and great practices), but not winning. I am hopeful things will be better in the future with the new Matt and Ryan.
Pace did draft well. I’m a huge bear fan. I like the new regime. Take the NORTH
@alan stark I’d say Pace drafted lower rounds well, he was 50-50 on his first rounds. I’m excited to see what Poles can do, especially in FA. Those moves will show how committed he is to fixing our issues (draft picks are always tricky, you never know how they’ll turn out), and Poles seems to care as much about giving us a winning team as any Bears fan does. He hasn’t done much of anything yet, but he’s got this fan very excited for next year already.
Dude wore a Bears uniform, he proposed to his wife in Chicago and he is an Offensive Lineman… he can get all types of emotional, he’s our guy and he’s going to build a SuperBowl champion team, hopefully more than one!!! LETS GO! BEAR DOWN!!!

when a man gets emotional about something it means they care and seeing this I can tell he cares about this organization and i’m excited to see what he does. Anyone acting like they know whats about to happen is lying to themsleves.
