“We’re gonna be the least penalized team” That important to hear because then it shows that he focuses on the little things. He’s gonna have his team play smart, not do dumb, bone-head taunting plays and keep his team focused and determined to win. Something that was really lacking from Nagy being the coach.

You could tell he’s a defensive type of guy. But that’s not a bad thing at all. I actually think having a defensive mind set for a head coach is a good thing. Teaches more discipline
Loving what I hear so far. He seems very detail oriented.
Some highlights:
Playing with hustle and effort on every play
Adapting Tampa 2 defense and being flexible
Smart situationally and naming KEY situations in which Matt Nagy had 0 awareness of what to do(redzone, backed up into endzone, 2 minute)
Not sure I want to be a Tampa 2 defense. I guess Roquan would be a solid in the scheme.
I love him already! Talking about development, player personel, putting players in position to succeed, bringing back the peanut punch… EVERYTHING NAGY NEVER TALKED ABOUT DOING!!!🐻⬇️🐻⬇️

Can’t fault anything he’s said so far. He’s an impressive guy. I hope he proves to be more of an engineer than a saleman, because it’s a results based business. Good luck with eradicating our penalties Matt, I hope you manage it with this same bunch of players, because we were sloppy and indisciplined last year. I especially hope he can get rid of the “taunting” calls against us because they really annoy me.
You can tell these guys want to win, it’s all in the body language and tone 💪🏾 these guys may not be what we wanted but I have a feeling they will prove us wrong
