Eberflus is like the opposite of Nagy. Discipline, accountability, hustle, effort. Nagy never taught those. Great pick poles! 👏

@Sammy liking him as a person doesn’t make him a good coach, sorry to say.
Every coach, including Nagy, teach those principles. Those aren’t unique to Eberflus. The difference may be on how he/his staff deal with players that consistently miss the mark.
At the end of the day it’s about execution. Let’s see who executes and who doesn’t; and what happens to those that don’t!

@Sammy A good coach isn’t there to be your friend. They are there to make you better, which includes hearing things you may not like or want to hear. Nagy seemed incapable of holding anyone accountable, especially himself. Regardless of what Eberflus’ record is, there is already a noticeable improvement.

I was really hard on the Eberflus pick. But, he did get a decent OC to help Justin so idk.
I love that Eberflus isn’t calling plays. Focus on coaching this team! Let’s go. Poles seems like he has a plan on how to build a team through the draft.

If you didn’t like Pace you might want to reserve judgment on Poles. In addition to his draft roster building mantra he spoke about having conviction and going after talent when he has “conviction” about it… Where have we heard that before? 🤔

I’m really not sure how these guys “interviewed well” as they both seemed pretty nervous/uncomfortable. Poles seemed scared sh*%less. But I guess all we can do is wait and see.
Ryan is a first time GM, facing rows of reporters as well as his family. Eberflus doesn’t come across as nervous to me at all, he seems like a natural communicator, and I like that.
I really like Ryan’s philosophy to continue with a youth movement, build thru the draft.
I think with Matt, he had an offensive coordinator in mind before the announcement. So, we will see what Luke brings to the offense.
Love every minute of this! We seem to have an accountable leader in Eberflus and a seemingly good scout/personnel guy in Poles. Let’s see how the rest of the staff shapes out.

I think we got a couple of solid football men here and I believe they will bring the Passion a must. A team who needs held accountable and disciplined to bring culture and pride back. I buy in I think the team and a lot of the guys will to they need direction and true leadership. Thanks now Go BEARS 🏈
This interview showed me we are heading in the right direction. The way they word things, detailed explanation, etc. There’s no further back we can go, I’m sure they will get the 100% effort out of our guys! Let’s work Chicago I like this. Good luck Matt and Ryan!
