Barry Turner

Thank you, Frank Reich, for your insights, and thank you, Chicago Bears, for posting this!

Well let’s give it a go. Personally I’d have preferred McDaniels but will have faith in Ryan/Matt 2.0 unless they give me reason not to.

    Erik Rodriguez

McDaniels who failed in Denver , screwed over the colts and no belicheck coach has been successful

    @Erik Rodriguez Flores 🤨

    Erik Rodriguez

@Zenith Bear he’s decent but he hasn’t been around long enough to see if he would really be successful

Every good, bad, or great head coach had their first chance at being a head coach for the first time.

    Sam Russo

I know he will be better than Nagy. Just by a few things he said in his interview “We are going to match the scheme to the talent we have” “least penalized”

    Irish67

@Sam Russo while I agree. You can also look at the way the colts defense flies around, gang tackles, and doesn’t commit turnovers. Something the bears have not been

I'm the ugliest man living.

As a colts fan Frank gonna tell y’all facts.

Alex Amerling

Appreciate Frank’s insights and I’m really excited about the hire.

Austin Murdock

I love Eberflus already! Everything Frank mentioned about Eberflus as a coach and person is true. you can see it in eberflus face and the way he acts! If you watch the videos of him coaching you can see it as well!

Matt Nagy: “Be you!”
Matt Eberflus: “HITS!”
Lovin’ it! Bear Down!

    Gary Bednarz

Chris Long to brother Kyle, “You guys would of never won it for playing too soft.” (sic)

David de Hilster

Amazing that this guy did this at all!

Jonathan B

You can already tell a few of the biggest immediate differences between Nagy’s style and Eberflus’ is a focus on effort, discipline and holding players accountable. I am looking forward to seeing it in action on the field.

Dwayne

Very good assessment of our new coach. Keyword in my opinion is adapt. Hopefully this will be applied significantly next season and throughout his tenure. 🐻⬇️

Fresh starts are always nice. Hope we can just be in the convo for the playoffs next season. Not expecting anything other than just being relevant in season 1. We can build from that.

TheShaman73

I’m excited. I like hearing that a coach wants to adapt to the players and opponents. rather than the playbook he brought with him and force scheme.

Great of this guy to spend his valued time.

Frank Zepeda

This is standup for Coach to give him appreciation and props that goes a long way. 👍 It sounds like we have the real deal in this Coach Matt , Nagy was a pretender!!

    Krisis

Really hope the lions hire him so we can smack his junior high offense around.

Frank Zepeda

Great stuff to know Coach thanks for sharing great to hear from good football men. Real leaders not what we’ve had of lately . Thanks

LOVE THIS MAN

TheIceWatkins

Obviously at this point it’s all talk and we need to see it in action, but I am encouraged by the fact that I’ve heard several times now about how he will adapt to what his players do best. We saw how awful it was with a guy like Nagy who absolutely refused to adapt to his players in any way, shape or form. Let’s hope this is accurate and Eberflus has a clear philosophy on both sides of the ball, but will design what they do around what his players do well.

Jeromie Munoz

What a cool guy to do this interview and he really sold me on Flus!
