OMG, I went to college with Rob. Shippensburg University in the House. I remember when he use to long snap in da gym. He was a beast D Tackle and played a long time in the NFL as a long snapper. Our school is DII. I remember when he was first trying to get to the nfl with the Bears and Jets. He got A ring with Favre, and was with the Packers organization a long time as Director of Player personnel. I can’t believe he’s with the Cowboys. I hope to reconnect with him. What a Small World. WOW.

What I like most is that the approach is something different. The garrett approach has clearly gotten stale with the locker room. Just talking championship doesn’t make it so. I remember all the coaches between switzer and garrett talking championship and it didn’t amount to any. But MAN, did this cowboys team need a new direction. I finally have hope that it might be the right direction.
I like the language this guy is taking , I hope they can turn that into real championships!

5:40 is the best answer for Davis’ role on the coaching staff. It’s the life and development of the whole player.
It seems that Jerry is giving McCarthy alot of room to build the culture he wants with little to no pushback from the Coaching Staff down.
It will be interesting to see what that looks like with the Roster, Free Agents, the Draft etc.
That’s what the difference will be this time
