I’m concerned that this coaching staff is not looking to get out of this hole and make some kind of run. This past week all the talk has been about trading players and not adding, while I understand maybe getting rid of Ferrell if you have a buyer, this defense is short staffed, and pretty thin at DL and secondary. So to be thinking about trading either Abrams and Ferrell even with all their liabilities, doesn’t seem smart when at this point we need depth, if you can get someone in return that can help, then I say great, but to trade for future picks that don’t help them now, seems like a coaching staff that is looking for the future and not now. This team was a playoff team a year ago with a worse roster, so to be thinking about next year and not this year seems like a head scratcher to me. I won’t even get into the rumors about Jacob’s, he’s the only thing that has been good this year, if that happens, that’s a sign that this regime is giving up for this year, and that pisses me off because all of Raider Nation knows that this team is good, and the coaching staff has been the problem, so if any changes happen, it should be the coaching, not the players, because I think we can honestly say that a different coach, would have this team at 3-2, or 4-1, not 1-4. Let’s hope for the best….. Go Raiders!!!! One last thing, am I the only one who just wants to slap that smug face off McDaniels? He just seems like he’s full of himself…
My thoughts exactly. I feel like they are winging it until they actually get the guys they want on the team, because they don’t like the personnel. I hate it. Give me a break! The afc isn’t that great except for the bills and chiefs. We could easily be in the discussion. But this coaching staff is limiting the team. Also don’t like how mcdaniels doesn’t rep the raiders. Still seems like he’s a patriot
