I really like how dedicated and humble he is. If he didn’t have a good answer to a question, he admitted it and said he will get better about answering. He didn’t just BS around the hard questions. And I respect that
I know that every gm usually holds a presser around the combine but I like how he is out in public view more than pace

@William Brown Well in case your not up to date on current events, the Chiefs are pretty good these days and he had a huge part in their success. Has he done anything with the Bears, NO, he just got here. But, I like his tone, demeanor, etc.

Poles is a College Scouting Personnel man… Pace was a Pro Personnel guy, THIS is the difference between the two that gives me faith that Poles will make the RIGHT picks and not miss on sure-fire stars like Pace consistently did. Bear Down!

This is what someone who has spent years with a championship caliber franchise sounds like. He’s being polite. He’s very well aware of the current level of mediocrity. I’m really looking forward to the next few seasons, for the first time n a long time.

Bears need to make the right moves this off-season but there is talent right now on the team and with additions to the positions we need (O-line, CB, WR, safety?) they can succeed very soon. Fields now has a coach that worked with Rodgers and Adams. This couldn’t be a more exciting time as a BEARS FAN!! 🐻🐻

Lol no it’s not. The Packers are going to continue to dominate and our Bears will probably continue to embarass. I hope Dan Campbell finds some success and your Vikings find a way.
@Daniel Joyce I’m not so sure about the Packers. Even if Rodgers and Adams stay, they’re going to cripple the cap. Their days are numbered. They might have 1 more year, maybe 2, then it’s back to the basement for them

I feel good about Poles. I was high on Pace too. Pace had a few good decisions, but he traded too many draft choices to get Trubisky. I rarely like unloading multiple draft choices for one player. Jay Cutler, Mitch Trubisky, Herschel Walker…
