My theory is that Lurie and Howie want Nick to always pass and RPO, look at Luries face when we ran like 60 yd during that one drive, he looks so disappointed with the team, though they are winning big.
The NFL as a whole went away from physical football.
The team has completely turned around, we went from 60% passing, to 60% running. He’s learned and is growing from his mistakes.
@Blood Agreed and they still can make playoffs right? What has to happen for that, they have to win every game from now on? Or they can lose something and can they lose to cowboys if they win every other game? And if they do win every game left is it 100% that they get out or not? I’m European so i don’t really know how qualification to playoffs works yet.
@Blood …..Might be to late. I hope not but it’s a big chance that it is to late. Next year is not guaranteed. Who knows if the Eagles started off early in the season with the running game. The passing game with Hurts might have came along much quicker and better. It would have been better.
Because that’s what Seattle did with Russell Wilson’s rookie year and second year. Seattle ran the ball more than they passed the ball. Seattle won the Superbowl Wilson’s 2nd year. Wilson’s passing was spot on later in the year and in the playoffs.
@Toms Rudzītis more than likely if they win 5-6 they can possibly make it. I’m not expecting them to beat the Cowboys but they have to beat the Jets, and Giants/WFT twice a piece. Very doable.
@Toms Rudzītis …..There is the AFC Conference and the NFC Conference. The Eagles are in the NFC. 7 teams from each Conference with the best record are going to make the playoffs. The Eagles are in the NFC in the 9th spot. The Eagles need the New Orleans saints, the San Francisco 49ers or the Minnesota Vikings to lose more games. If the Eagles have the same record as the New Orleans saints the Eagles would win that spot. If the Eagles have the same record as the 49ers. The 49ers would win that spot. Because the 49ers beat the Eagles in the 2nd game. Eagles have to keep winning and those teams have to lose a game or several games.

Has been a nice turnaround for this team. Still plenty of work yet to do, but it’s nice to be playing for something late in the season
