Bill & Kristina Holland – Thats why the reporters don’t get a vote. Mitch is still young and hungry. Nick could have retired if the Bears didn’t throw millions of dollars at him. Nick secured his legacy with one playoff run. He doesn’t need to take another NFL snap, in fact he’s better off if he doesn’t. Why risk more injury?
Mitch has a lot to prove, he’s on the edge of being a trivia question. Mitch needs this! Nick doesn’t. Nick should be content with a clipboard and a big fat paycheck.
JJ – Go look at Brady’s stats for that Super Bowl and see who played better. One guy had 505 yards passing, 3 Touchdowns and no picks. Foles had a career game and the Eagles held on to win but he didn’t outplay the GOAT that day.
@Sloe Bone Go look at the rings from that super bowl. Brady had more yards but we aren’t playing fantasy. Scoring 41 points is not holding on.

Ryan pace picked Foles to compete because of how humble he is. Foles will not start a battle in the locker room over not being the starter.
You don’t waste millions of dollars because a QB is humble. Mitch got the job because this is Paces last shot to be justified in passing up on Watson and Mahomes.
JJ – If the Bears win, Pace keeps his job. The only people still worried about the 2017 draft are Bears fans that can’t let go.

Nick Foles is such a class act! Just having him around the locker room and meetings is going to help Mitch! I said this months ago when we signed him, no matter who wins the starting job, the Bears will have the best backup QB in the NFL in 2020!
