What he was talking about is picking up little defensive tendencies that you can only learn from the experience of being in the league for a long time like Brady. For Mahomes, running the RPO-heavy Reid offense is second nature since he ran multiple types of RPOs for Kingsbury at Texas Tech. They never ran the ball without an RPO option.
