Robert Allen, you can’t count the year under Fox that would not have been a good year for anyone. He was a pro bowler in year one of this system. He had a down year in year 2 like most of the team. You want them to start a guy who lost this fair competition? Almost everyone on this team had a bad year last year. Mack only 8.5 sacks lowest since his rookie year. Montgomery I believe 3.2 yards per carry. Offensive line was horrible. Jackson took a step back from 2018. I am not ready to give up on anyone that had a down or bad year last year. Nagy’s play calling was horrible. If Mitch has a bad year then he will be gone after this year, Then you can have the over paid guy who has never stayed healthy over the course of a season and who has never played well outside of Philly. Btw Watson and Mahomes were both rated lower than Mitch in the pre draft rankings.
@Jay Son I think Trubisky sucks because his average numbers compared to other NFL starting quarterbacks tell me so.

We all make excuses for the guy. I wanted to like him but he is not a starting QB in the NFL. Lots of QB’s have worked with less. Mitch isn’t the QB.

We may get 3 but I can just about guarantee they all won’t be from the arm of Trubisky. He didn’t throw a TD in 7 games last season. I have little faith in Da Bears with him under center.

The Bears are CRIMINALLY SLEPT ON this year! 2 top edge rushers, 2 top linebackers, 2 top safeties, a top interior d line, and a top cornerback on defense. The offense needs to slightly improve from how we ended last season and we’re a contender. After Whitehair moved to center and Burton was put on IR, our season turned around because we could get some legitimate blocking. Add Graham and Kmet…..BEAR DOWN BABY!! Tampa Bay here we come!

Jimmy Graham couldn’t catch what 2 Hall of Fame QB’s were throwing and you think he will catch Trubisky’s 3-5 yard under throws and overthrows? You signed two washed up players – Ginn and Graham. You still have no running back, but think “little” Tarik Cohen can be a running back. You have the same sorry offensive line as last year. LMAO
L L it’s not the quarterback, it’s the system when it comes to graham. He’s an improvement I’m not saying he’s Kelce. And I agree we could use a bruiser at running back. But we have the best defense in the league. Period. We can get away with a lot of weaknesses on offense. We just need to be consistent and not turn the ball over. And then, boom Super Bowl Champs. Listen man, Yeah nick probably wanted to start, but that man has already won the ultimate prize and was the SB MVP as well. Theres nothing better than that, I think he is more than content to help another man grow into a SB caliber QB and step up to be that guy again if his name is called. A class act.
