Uncle Z

Great game boys! Keep it up!

bigbabyzubas

a good building block for the rest of the season.

Lots of tape to watch tomorrow. #Back2Work

Okudah played very well. Smith was a non factor this game when he was on him. I’m glad he’s healthy and he can build off this.

    scott booker

Dirty Hit From Smith, should be fined

    Iceberg Slim

I agree, and that was a bad PI call on him too

    JT

Definitely, best part is how young this team is, & then the obvious, imagine when Jameson gets healthy, adding someone that electric to an already dynamic offense will be fun to watch.

Detroit Made

Man I fw Tracy ✊🏾💯

    Sas4l

Big old facts leader for sure

Aj Reed

Okudah you probably won’t even see this but keep going man there are some of us that always believed in you. Ups downs your a lion good come back game man

BEN DIESEL

Well done okudah! Very impressive game. Worst call this game way by Dan Cambell to kick a stupid onside kick when we had momentum and we’re only down by 10. Terrible call.

    Michael Powell

Yeah that was a panic call/decision no doubt! Made no sense to chase the game when we had the 4th qtr still to play.

    Mike Austin

I agree. Campbell is a clown

    Ed Barnard

Agree 100% thgis loss was on DC and he should amit it. Amateur hour managing

GrbgGaming

Last year we would’ve got blown out this game. We looked good and will improve. I love how they used the RB’s. Chark looked good. D-line looked good. O-line was phenomenal against an elite pass rush.

    Noflygaming

Last year we did get blown out by the eagles

    Travis VanAlst

    The D line looked good?

    GrbgGaming

@Travis VanAlst Yes for how young they are.

Cheryl Williams

Nice come back Okudah 😎😎😎

Found Scott

We all talk about Okaduhs man coverage, but man ol man his tackling is elite level. He drives his opponent back and to the ground, EVERYTIME!

Rocky Bass

We lost the game on mistakes. Offense possession’s 2, 3 & 4, a couple blown plays on defense. Rodrigues was fantastic, so was Swift. Love seeing Hutch alongside another edge rusher that gave them fits. Philly won’t forget us. Clean it up gentleman. On to the team formerly known as the Redskins.

IBLizZaRD

I’m happy football is back but then depression sets in as I watch the lions. Classic Sunday

Jay Washington

I’m feeling even more confident in this Detroit Lions team winning against the Cowboys and the way that the Packers looked on Sunday; this Lions team could easily win these 3 games. Bigger challenge is going against the Buffalo Bills on Thanksgiving

Bo Gagrius

The Eagles are a legit team and showed it. So did the Lions. Let’s go!

Montarctica

Okudah is gonna be a baaaaddd man.. mark my words. He’s got the drive, the look and the build. We will be happy with this young defense in the next 6-18 months.

Montarctica

Even with the loss. I don’t think I’ve ever felt better about a young crew of players on this team. Goff either gotta step up or step off and we upgrade.

    Detroit vs. Everybody

I actually think Goff played really well against this eagles defense who are really good btw… So yeah I think we clean up the little mistakes and find a way to convert a couple more 3rd downs and we will be fine.. if we keep playing like we did against the we will do good this year… Defense needs to get better as far as containing mobile qbs …

    Jake Beasley

deff wasnt on goff, like 6 drops from great passes, he played great even the pick 6 wasnt all his fault, hes going to be great for this year just gotta clean up the small drops and some stuff

Jason Tom

Eagles utilizes Jalen Hurts as a 4th running back in a quarterback position.

Jalen Hurts scored 0 passing touchdowns and 4 rushing touchdowns (3 from 3 interceptions running backs & 1 from Jalen Hurts), and scored a pick six with their secondary. Similar to how they beat us with 0 passing touchdowns last season.

Jared Goff scored 2 passing touchdowns (Amon-Ra St. Brown & DJ Chark) and 3 rushing touchdowns (2 by Jamaal Williams & 1 by D’Andre Swift). I liked how our Detroit Lions defense shut down Jalen Hurts and Eagles offense in Q1 and Q4. Lions offense scored against Eagles in Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4, but didn’t score on all of our drives. We’re going to get there offensively.

Eagles passed and rushed for more yards than Lions.

It appears Eagles beat our Lions with more running backs.

Detroit Lions will be stronger in week 2 for the Washington Commanders.

Honolulu Blue and Silver for the win.

frank

Shout out to Okudah. Welcome back for the first time. Keep it up.

kemical247

I felt like the refs missed plenty of pass interference calls on the Eagles that would’ve advanced the Lions up the field in RedZone situations

I’m a Eagles fan. We have a lot of new players on defense. In the second half many of those players were out of position and really haven’t had a chance to jell. They haven’t had any preseason games together. Plus, I’m not and many Eagles fans are not high on our defensive coordinator. But, I knew the Lions were not going to quit like last year down the stretch of the season.

bigboy

One thing in mind

Last year Eagles 44. Lions 6.

This year Eagles 38. Lions 35.

I see improvements.
