Justin Jefferson definitely won against Sauce Gardner and DJ Reed with 7 catches for 45 yards and 1 touchdown and he couldn’t lockdown Justin Jefferson at all.

that game JJ had some ferocious hits and was dropping balls like Tom Brady in the Super Bowl. Sauce had knocked him off his route, reed had deflected a pass and had gotten scored on. But the fact of the matter is that the jets defense was able to force Jefferson to have his worst game of the season, and by the second half he wasn’t effective. There is no argument about that.
@James Dunn I disagree for some reasons like it wasn’t just reed he had a lot of safety help when they did lock down JJ but that’s just the coaching and I guess you can say on JJ too. I do agree he could’ve done more with a dropped pass or 2 forgot if he dropped another. But we need to utilize him more I saw him open a couple of times.
@James DunnKirk also missed a few passes that went Jefferson’s way, Kirk had a rough start and couldn’t seem to be on target at all, if Jefferson catches the other ones Kirk messed up, he’d have 70 yards easy

I do think homers are ridiculous though and that’s who I was really talking to. Good luck the rest of the way!

I think Justin Jefferson was in his head today with that recent baby and abortion drama. He had two catches he would normally catch.
One of his best plays was when he didn’t force the pass and instead ran for about 8 yards. He has great field presence
