smh this should be common sense. WRs aren’t DE/LBs we’re they can just line up & rush the QB/RB/sit in zone. offense it’s multiple routes, alignment & timing.
@Jim George Claypool only ran 6 routes by the way, the rest was run plays. 2 weeks have the playbook memorized in full though is expected 😭
I love his “wanting to win” attitude. This season hasn’t been that great but Fields is still putting up high numbers/stats. I can’t wait for next season. 🐻👇❤️

One positive this year, we have our QB. He might break Lamar Jackson’s single season rushing record as a quarterback which would be incredible. Need more passing yards, but still this dude is a stud hopefully for many years to come.

Kmet has had the best stretch of his career and our oline is playing a little better. Poles 1st year as gm and 1st year hc & oc… he’s figuring everything out right now with one of the least talented rosters. The passing yds are not a focus. His growth and protection is.
As a raven fan i been saying he reminds me when we drafted lamar. He can change the culture All u gotta do is build around him and have coaches who actually fully buy in

I know we lost, but this season couldn’t be going any better right now. We got some solid rookie defenders, hopefully a top 5 pick in the draft, and Justin fields has jumped so many levels and became a star 🐻 ⬇️

The worst thing you can do as a team is try to win games when you aren’t good enough to content media credit gets you nowhere bite the bullet take a 5-12 szn and get a top draft pick and that’s when the building starts

Yea, when your offense gives you 30 points a game and you still lose it means the problem is not with the offense.

@S J Thats obviously false. How many great QBs are drafted and switch teams after a couple years? Thats very rare due to contract structuring. Hes signed now until at least through 2024. Then theyll sign an extension. Thats just how it goes.

@S J pull up his college tape & point out how he doesn’t sit in the pocket 👀 his arm talent is why he was big coming out of the draft. mans had 1100 total rushing yards. 260+ with Georgia & 860+ with OSU in those 2 years. 5700+ passing yards 😭

I’m thrilled our offense is doing better but I’ve always been a Defense first Bears fan and this giving up 30 points nonsense is killing me. Give me a 12-10 win over a 35-24 win any day of the week.

As a Buckeye fan it’s so cool to see him getting so much love from the Chicago fan base. Glad the world is getting to see how great a young man and football players Fields really is. Chicago is now my second favorite team next to Cleveland of course.

@Jim George do we? Let’s be honest he is basically playing glorified rb. When he was asked to play regular old qb he lost the game for them. If the defender reads the play that does not mean try to throw it over his head.
@Blank Name yea we have a franchise qb. His qb rating today was 99.8 . Qb rating has nothing g to do with your running, its totally based on how you threw the ball overall that day.

Why is no one mentioning the how much having Claypool on the field is effecting the defense when JF1 goes to the air?? Cole has scored 4 TD since Claypool has joined the Bears. That is a testament to how valuable he is as a player and the attention the opposing defense has to pay to him. Mooney and Cole both can now show their grit with some pressure lifted.
Justin has taken huge steps forward this season. Our defense is a sieve on way too many occasions.
I’ve never been more excited to have a single player on our team than I am now . Justin is special and we’re lucky to have him . The future is bright for the bears with this guy for sure !!!
