Guys. It was the Raiders and the Chiefs on Monday night. Did you really think the league was going to let us have that one? We were just there to make the Chiefs look good and we only had a 14-0 lead so it wouldn’t look like an epic comeback by the Chiefs

Exactly, last two games have been major improvements. It’s the record that is front and center. Think about it, other then Grudens win, Josh coached the best game against KC in the last 5 years or more. If he doesn’t go big with play calling in this game, we don’t jump out to a 17 pt lead and probably lose by 10. Just didn’t work out.

The fact that we were up 17 zip proves there’s progress. Hindsight is 20/20 with the late agro play calling but JJ and the O-line are really gelling. Maxx is an absolute monster. Stay on course 🧭.

Waller is a real disappointment. Jones has also been far below expectation. WRs running into each other. Shaky offensive line. Complex offense that has players thinking too much. We have a playoff team that has regressed under McDaniels.

I didn’t mind the 2 try, prefer lots of motion to freeze the LBs, or that popular stack run and push the RB from behind I saw the Eagles run like 4 times…hated the 4th & 1 final play call. Adams on what looked like a post, but Hunter not running a crosser or slant to counter Hollins vs zero cover blitz…plus the make up Chris Jones vs Carr flags the scared Refs made ALL 2ND half was blatantly obvious, that BS Koonce “holding” call on a 4th & 14 late 4th qtr MISSED FG try, AND it gives an automatic 1st down!! Not 10 yards & another FG attempt, was a goddamned -3 to +6 swing.
Raiders had 8 flags the 2nd half aftwr the 1st half Chris Jones vs Carr call. And the Chefs had ZERO the 2nd half…while blatantly rubbing illegal picks/rubs illegal man downfield for Kelce all those RZ TDs, and double team holding Maxx constantly all 2nd half as he was teeeing off on Pat all 1st half for pressure and sacks.
I am sorry our defense needs to step it up. Our defense has going into prevent mode in two games. Patrick Graham why not be aggressive when you up.
The problem is with the second half of these games we do well in the first half but when we return we change directions instead of using what works

I’m not sure the refs thought they were getting out of Arrowhead alive. I was at the game last night and after that call on Chris Jones it felt dangerous in Arrowhead. I was scared they were going to go out on the field and kill the refs and I’m not even joking.
We will make the playoffs.
These close losses to good teams will serve as great lessons.
