I speak for most of the Raider Nation when I say this one yesterday hurt. And it hurt much more than many other hurts we have had to deal with. Especially the past 20 years of trying to bring back the Just Win Baby mystique.
@The Original Surfer Bob 🏄♂️ The downfall started to occur after the Superbowl appearance in 2001. Raiders have never been the real “Raiders” after that happened. From 1980-2000 Raiders had 7 seasons of 10 wins or more and 2 Super Bowl wins.
From 2001 to now we only had 4 season of 10 or more wins and 1 Superbowl loss. And tons of seasons with 5 wins or less. And the way things are looking now it might be a 5 win season.

My point is we went from a feared organization and usual contenders to the bottom of the league and a laughing stock on the regular. I want to see success again and of course more 🏆. But that attitude swagger and mystique has been gone for the time frame I was talking about. At the end of the day we have the same goal. But you have to walk before you can run. I thought we started walking last year now we’re stumbling back to the trash heap.

Every player got on camera and begged the owner to give him a contract. What he get for that? Shitcanned. The Raiders are an embarrassing weak team and organization. The only good thing is we right now have the Will Anderson pick. Right now we have it in our pocket. Leave it to these idiots to end up winning 2-3 meaningless games and pick 4th.

Points per game: Offense is 8th. Defense is 28th. Yet we all complain about the Offense.

The rougher the passer on Chris Jones and the Malcolm Koonce holding call were unacceptable
The loss was bitter, and the play calling needs more consistency. One have to compliment at least for what was considered the leagues best run defence, Josh Jacobs and the O’line chewed for an impressive 154 yards and 7.3 yds per run by Jacobs.
There is potential, a lot of it, and it think as much as I question McDaniels too with his play calling at times, the Raiders were in it till the end.
Bond, james bond, i try to tell fans this the raiders haven’t had a top 10 defense for 20 years and top 20 defense for like 11 years. Its the same crap on defense, can’t stop teams in the redzone, don’t force turnovers, not enough big plays. The defense is the same crap as it was under Norton, Guenther, Bradley etc…

I just want the offense to stop huddling. McDaniels allowed for at the line calls in the Broncos game AND WE WON but seemingly went away from this again.
I’m no expert but the way I see it this loss comes down to coaching. I know, I know a lot of people are talking about the decision to go for two instead of kicking the extra point, and while I do believe that was a head scratcher, this was just one thing of many that contributed to the loss. On that last drive, why aren’t you not running the ball on 3 and 1 or 2 whatever it was? And then again on the last play? Jacobs was killing it again and then McDaniels forgets all about that, it reminded me of the play calling at the end of the Arizona game where Renfrow fumbled because they went to him twice instead of running the ball. Those were just a couple of things that stood out to me but there was other play calls on offense that made you wonder WHY? Let’s not forget about Graham and the defense as well, while I do believe that it’s very hard to contain the Chiefs offense, and the Raiders defense did do some good things, the question I continue to ask Graham, is why, why do you stop being aggressive when it’s obviously the key to getting to Mahomes? I can’t remember what quarter it was late third or early fourth but the chiefs had like a second and third and very long, and what does Graham do? Rushes only three and plays deep zone on back to back plays, allowing Mahomes all day in the pocket to find someone, that reminded me of Gunther’s defense when he would not blitz and the defense was constantly allowing 3rd and long to be converted. The pressure was working on Mahomes, don’t abandon what is working even if it’s 3rd and long, I know you don’t want to allow a long completion but IMO you have a better chance of stopping them by pressure and making Mahomes get rid of the ball quickly instead of having all day, but what do I know… I’m just a fan who’s disappointed because play calling has put this team at 1-4 which could of been 4-1 if it wasn’t for some head scratching calls. Oh yeah, the refs were way to involved in the outcome of this game, but what else is new…..
U nailed it ! Why go for home run when all u need is 1yd ? JJ was averaging 5-6 yds a carry ! All u need is 30 yds to get in Fg range wit a good kicker.

35 years I have been a raiders fan and I’ve only seen 9 winning seasons. Someone please explain to me why I continue to expect anything other than losing.
