Detroit played awesome!! They never gave up. I actually thought they would have lost by at least 17 pts. Eagles have so much talent on there team…I can see 9 wins this year!!!
@No One plus !!! Not handing out huge contracts to players who don’t earn it!!! Thats what we always did to sell tickets to the game…that one is huge!
9 wins for the Eagles? Maybe – that’s what they did last year. Acting like they are the Chiefs or Rams is silly – they had the 14th best record in the NFL last year. The Lions – i hope they can win 7.

Scored 35 points in game 1 against a good team. Improvement definitely showed but self sabotaging drops need to be improved. Put game 1 behind us and move on to game 2. 🦁💙

@Mike Austin if he pulls it off people are calling him a genius. Member Dantonios Little giants in OT? Campbell is a gutsy coach. Does he make some mistakes? Yes. The positives far outweigh the negative. At the time I didn’t love the onside kick but when I think about it it fits what they are trying to build which is aggressiveness, grit and toughness and the defense could not get off the field.

Big improvement from last year, if Philly had any other QB Detroit would have won. Hurts converted multiple 3rd downs and had some clutch throws. Detroit’s D was out there too much in the second, that’s early season conditioning. They will be fine!

@613BASS’N if we didn’t go for that on side kick we would have never had enough time to possibly go and win the game think about that what if they get the ball back and go for an 8 minute drive then we’re totally screwed that was actually a good decision because it gave us a chance to actually win
To that note at the 8:15 mark last year when they played Lamar and the Ravens the two instrumental players that were keeping lamar in check were the OKWARA Brothers they didn’t play yesterday could of made huge difference in the game but time to move on week 2!!!

@Fernando Arreguin your point? Lamar was sacked at least 3 times in 8 out of 12 games last year and had at least one pick in 7 out of 12 games. I guess everyone kept him in check last year 🤷♂️
as an eagles fan, the Detroit team played hard and the environment inside the stadium was hyped. I think detroits gonna surprise a lot of teams this year

To any Lions fans disappointed at the lack of production for Hutch, don’t be.
Not only did he have to fight through one of the best O-Lines in football, he also had to deal with Hurts being once of the most mobile and tenacious QBs in the league.
Hutch will get his due, the cards were just very stacked against him this game.
When people claim Hutchinson is one of the best in the league already (and they do, feel free to check the comment sections after his 1 pre season tackle for a loss) then you can’t claim he didn’t perform well because he was up against good players lol
@Adam B34 I certainly don’t think he’s one of the best in the league and I think anyone who does is an impatient fanboy.
But I do recognize the kids talent and the fact that he can’t carry a bottom 10 defensive line on his own. Growing pains will happen and I liked what I saw from him overall during the game.

@KingOfTheBees are you under the impression the Eagles are the only team with a good oline or a mobile qb? If he can’t handle those things, he’s in trouble.
I hope we’re able to run the ball like that all year long. I predicted we would lose by one score Philadelphia is Got much more talent than us especially on defense. I wanted to see DJ Chark get a touchdown and DeAndre Swift run the ball well. We beat Washington and we forget all about this..

Detroit Lions offense led by Jared Goff scored 2 passing touchdowns and 3 rushing touchdowns against Philadelphia Eagles. I do like what I saw with our offense, and we’re going to be better.
Eagles scored 4 rushing touchdowns with 3 running backs + Jalen Hurts. Eagles utilizes Jalen Hurts as their 4th running back. Lions played 2 running backs. It’s no wonder Eagles led the league in rushing yards last season.
Eagles secondary known to cover against the pass game baited our Lions offense with the “pick six.” Ouch. That hurt us. Detroit Lions will bounce back and be better in week 2: Washington Commanders.
Lions are moving in the right direction.
Big fan of the Detroit rebuild (not even from there). But Coach Campbell realizes what he’s up against. League authorities, a mass media, and gambling cartels all lined up to shape game outcomes. Detroit is true blue collar, and therefore a feeder for other franchises to get their points off. Hope the Lions can do it, and achieve the improbable: a deep run into the playoofs

Bengals fan here and I have the lions as my second fav team if I had to choose. By far my fav NFC team, I could literally sit down and listen to dan talk all day. Love his honesty and you can see the fight in the players. I really hope the lions have a good year, cheers! 🟠⚫🐅
