Drew Brees Sets NFL Record for Completion % | Next Gen Stats | New Orleans Saints

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees added to historic night (after breaking Peyton Manning's career TD passes record) by breaking the NFL record for completion percentage in a game with a 96.7 mark against the Indianapolis Colts in week 15 of the 2019 NFL season.

Brees, who broke Peyton Manning's touchdown record in the third quarter, was 29 of 30 for 307 yards with four touchdowns when he left the game in the fourth quarter of a 34-7 rout of the Indianapolis Colts. Brees completed 22 consecutive passes Monday. The NFL record is 25.
