They went from 1-6 to 9-8. That’s insane, I was really hoping they’d make it to the playoffs. going 8-2 the last 10 games is awesome
The refs in the rams game kinda ruined our chances. And the rams O is led by baker mayfield
It’s damn inspirational! I’m a Chiefs fan since I was 5 back in the 70’s (we weren’t very good for a long time tbh) but always had a soft spot for the Lions. But the last couple of years I’ve been able to follow them a lot more and I love the fans, coach and players. And have fallen in love. As my second team of course. Though I wouldn’t mind at all losing a Super Bowl to you guys.
Lived in Chicago for quite a while so seeing the Packers get beat down by any NFC North team is something I can very much enjoy as well. Great way to end the season for Detroit! And you were so very much classier than Packers. Bit angry about all that. By which I mean I’ve surpassed very and circled around to using understatement.
Same here I was hoping they make it too, but I’m still proud of them
The panthers game is what disappointed me more then the rams game..
The L they took last second against the bills I get that one ..
But the 300 yards rushing was not acceptable..
I am kinda glad they did not make the playoffs and have to play the 49rs and get beat down..
They are going out with a winning record and lions became a destination
The turning point of the season was the firing of Pleasant. Right after that happened, the D improved and they went on a roll.

Lions were the best team in their division at the end. Should have been in the playoffs if there were votes to get in.
Thanks for the amazing season my beloved Lions. Beyond football you gave hope and inspiration to a lot of us going through difficult times. Next year and beyond the sky is the limit. Kudos to MC/DC, Brad Holmes, Ben Johnson, all the other coordinators, coaches and players (especially our offensive line) and everyone who works behind the scenes. You are all awesome. Have a great 2023 all my fellow Lions fans and I already can’t wait for next season.
Can’t wait for the postgame celly vid. This off-season we’re going to only get better and once JG and Jamo get synced up there isn’t going to be a corner in the league who’ll be able to keep pace. Double teams everywhere.

A fitting end to the most satisfying Lions game I have seen in my 52 years of watching them. Jared Goff, the QB nobody wanted, throws a strike to the Sun God and puts the dagger into the corpse of the Acme Packers. Forward Down The Field indeed.

Despite the Seahawks winning their game to make the playoffs, I give mad respects to Dan Campbell, Jared Goff and the Lions for giving the fans a winning season and beating Aaron Rodgers and the Packers in Lambeau, a place where the Lions almost always lose as far as I can remember. Hope the front office can continue to make smart decisions to make this team a playoff contender next year.

As a chiefs fan here in KC I must admit, I was pulling for the Lions in the NFC. You guys have found your coach in DC. So happy for the fan base. You guys deserve winning football. Loved watching your team this season. Best of luck next year!!
“Either we’re going or they’re not” Love that quote and love the attitude even better! Such a good job to finish so strong. Was so impressed with the defense too, they have really improved since the beginning of the season. Seems now they are just a couple of players away from being able to play with the consistency needed to be a championship team.
Very impressive turnaround for the Lions! At first I didn’t know what to make of this new head coach. His introductory press conference was unusual to say the least, but he was as real as it gets, and everyone seemed to enjoy his unconventional approach. The man is as real as he could be, and he doesn’t use coach speak when talking to reporters. What you see is what you get, and it really worked with his team! He is really a players coach, and he wears his emotions on his sleeve. Lions fans are very lucky to have him, and I really believe they will be a force to recon with, and I wish the Lions all of the success in the world! Happy for the Lions and I can’t wait to watch them play next season!
God I love Jamal Williams!! What a football player, teammate, and all around great human being. Can’t wait for another season blessed by this Lion.
