They need to get the ball to Montgomery in space more in the passing game. He always picks up good yardage and makes guys miss when they pass to him beyond the line of scrimmage.
All of you are settling for an average RB. Montgomery cannot break the long TD. I’ve seen him once have 30 to 50 yard TD once in his career. You all have favorites, but don’t have pro bowlers. Bears will be mediocre as long as you all think average. ELITE!

@glen metcalfe the entire OL cannot be revamped. The 1st draft pick must be a skill player better or just as good as JF. With an ELITE RB the Bears can continue to rush the football like the NFL needs to see and hasn’t seen in a very long time.
we had alshon jeffries,brandon marshall and bennet for a TE,guess what AGAIN because of the OL they couldnt do SHITE!Why do you think RODGERS and MAHOMMES are so successful?Maybe just maybe because they have all day back there .OUR qbs for the last 40 years have been preassured in under 3 secs every fkn snap.I knew you didnt actually watch games LOL!
@glen metcalfe the offensive line can drastically improve with solid experienced signing of free agents. The running will not improve with the same two running backs with Herbert being the exception. Slight OL improvement means better running and passing. Defensive players later in the draft cause they have a better chance playing year 1 as rookies.

@Jeremy Booth yeah, but I believe Monty has more to offer than Herbert’s speed. I think that why people prefer him over Monty. But don’t get me wrong Herbert is a dawg too. But Monty beats him out IMO
@Tanner White i agree. I like them both tbh but I just don’t see this organization’s execs paying for 2 backs. The urgency to “get it right” has more pressure with Monty simply because it’s contract year for him. The tough thing is, bears are still trying to figure out their identity so I ask, are they willing to invest in a back now before figuring out who they are. That’s why I think he’ll be gone but his biggest advantage is all the cap space they have. So I guess we’ll see.

Tired of receivers running backwards trying to make a play
they need to resign DMO and make him a FOCUS on offense.The guy is a BEAST and an even better HUMAN BEING.If you were to lookup the blueprint of what a CHICAGIO BEAR should be,it would be a DMO blueprint!SOOOO underrated its sickening!
