If the next head coach doesn’t design plays that feature him at least 20 times a game! Monty should go get paid else where, as a Bears fan… His productivity has constantly been held back by the play calling. This kid is easily 10 touchdowns and 1,000 yards rushing alone if they could just use him! 🐻⬇️
It’s a shame Matt Nagy wasted our time and didn’t develope players and game plans to support David. This man has the potential to be top 5 running back in the league
He already is top 5 even with the horrible blocking schemes and no fundamentals.
Over the last 3 years, he’s averaged first contact between negative -.75 yds to negative -1.25 yds BEHIND the line of scrimmage. That alone tells you how great this man is.
I love the David “Identity” jersey.
Nagy wasted a lot of talent here because he only wanted success if it came his way.

Monty has averaged under 4 YPC his entire career with Nagy as his coach. Jordan Howard averaged under 4 YPC in his last season under Nagy. Morale of the story Nagy is a clown. Howard definitely was forced out of town prematurely IMO but with a new coach hopefully Monty can get more consistency and actually have decent play calling for once

Honestly one of the best running backs I’ve seen since Walter Payton… And I’m not just saying that as a Bears fan… There are a few running backs in this game that can cut, move laterally, have his quickness and power and also speed… He’s a complete running back and he is fantastic… Imagine the Bears with a new and improved offensive line… And an improved Justin fields… This team isn’t far from being in the playoffs and Super Bowl…
