Wow! As a chiefs fan from KC, and watched Drew Lock start all he way from when he was a freshman in the SEC at MIzzou and got the first start against Georgia BC Mauk (our senior QB at the time) got injured and even then he was flying around the field throwing deep passes which caused him to take the reins and continue as an 18 year old. Now it looks like he’s doing almost the exact same thing in NFL as he did in the NCAA. He won’t go anywhere but UP from here, it’s almost guaranteed. Even though we are in the same division, LOCK was supposed to be our QB in KC until baby Jesus Mahomes came in of course, and there’s always going to be a side of me that roots for Drew. With that being said, it is crucial that all the confidence without second thought go into Drew for this next season or they may see that absence of confidence or “tough love” spiral into something else where he has one bad game and feels that his whole career is on the line. You want someone like Drew to be 100% going into these games in the future. He will eat it up. BET
