Staley and Lombardi seem like they are a big part of the problem. Even with the injuries this was an embarrassing loss for the Chargers. It’s been yrs since the Chargers have been able to stop the run.

A lot of things to discuss with Coach Staley:
1. We all thought Herbert would level up having the same OC two years in a row but it actually looks like he’s regressed. He played better under Steichen.
2. Why do you keep all your starters in late in the game esp when you got significant injuries piling up in an unwinnable game….(see item 3)
3. …BUT you take your star players out like KA, Mike, and Ek out on 3rd and long and rely on practice squad guys? Those guys don’t get paid the big bucks to be standing on the sideline on money downs.
4. Offensive scheme sucks, defense still sucks too.
5. Get rid of the winless Navy unis (0-4). The Chargers always get their 🍑 in this set. I remember back in the day when the powder blues weren’t our primary uniform but they we were special because we’d never lose when wearing it.
6. Fire Joe and give Shane Day a shot.

1) Hebert has regressed cause the dude was always just overrated. Only good thing about him is his arm strength. He’s one of the biggest realist problems that no chargers fan wants to admit to just cause they get wowed by the big throws. Man does not have good decision making, doesn’t tuck the ball and run like Josh Allen when he should, can’t read a defense to save his life and sucks at moving around in the pocket and lacks pocket awareness
