Yeah… It’s not hard to figure out where the Colts went wrong these last two weeks. That’s pretty self-explanatory to anyone not a Wentz fanboy. Against Arizona the Colts had no o-line. So they couldn’t run the ball. Everyone was missing blocks. And Wentz had one good series and Reich thought, “I knew it! He’s the best QB in the game!”. And for two weeks he put the ball in Wentz’s hands and forgot about the real MVP. Those losses come down to play calling and a QB who can’t make the called plays. To be fair the Colts don’t have elite WRs either. Which is even more baffling that they would rely on the pass. This whole, “they were staying the box” is BS. So did the Patriots and Bills and JT still crushed them. Colts need a need play caller and new QB

Colts were prime to bring the back up in and take them to the promise land, then wentz showed back up right before the raiders “hEy GuyS, GueSS WHos BaCk?” And everyone face palmed and lost all hope. Wentz is a guy that doesn’t seem to really be thinking about the game as much as he should be. I have no idea how he got this far, being as ding batty as he is.

I was the biggest Wentz fanboy there was. This is the most devastating and inexcusable regular season loss in the history of American professional sports. This final 4 game stretch has destroyed any delusions I ever had about this guy being a franchise QB.

I knew he was trouble to indy when they traded for him. I remember rolling my eyes when i heard the news. Now the colts not only missed the playoffs, we are also out of first round draft pick. Great management there

It’s not that hard figure out.
1. The QB is inconsistent. Capable 9f amazing plays, but often disappearing, or worse self destruction
2. There aren’t enough high quality receivers.
3. The D cannot generate consistent pass rush with the front 4.
4. The defensive secondary is not strong enough to cover for #3.
5. A defense that relies on turnovers, but is unable to stop the opponent when they protect the ball will eventually get exposed
6. A one dimensional offense will eventually get exposed, no matter how good that one dimension is.

On the defense we did lose our starting safeties but that’s also on Eberflus(our DC) for not realizing that he doesn’t have the personnel to play cover.While turnovers where a HUGE part of the defense,we were good without them(Ex against Arizona)

The truth of the matter is that Carson did not handle his last year well with the Eagles. He basically quit. Certainly, it was difficult for him with the injuries and with Foles stepping in and winning a Super Bowl.
But Carson got his feelings hurt when the Eagles drafted Hurts. The Eagles did the right thing, as they knew something was missing with Wentz and they no longer knew for sure he was the answer. And then Carson gets offended when Doug takes him out after game 12…even though Carson SUCKED and the Eagles were out of the playoffs. Then, he tells his Agent to get him out of Philly, rather than regroup and come back stronger in 2021…winning the QB starting spot over Hurts. Carson pulled a “Ben Simmons”, taking his ball and going home. Lost a lot of respect for him, especially his lack of communication with the media and with fans. He got what he deserved yesterday.

Like many others, I thought the decline of Carson Wentz was connected only to the Eagles – the disappointed fans, the probing media, the departures of coaches who seemed to get the best out of him, such as Frank Reich. Wentz made it repeatedly and abundantly clear that he needed a fresh start away from Philadelphia. That’s the way I saw it – and so far it appears I was very wrong. This season, Wentz was a middle of the pack QB for a pretty good team – but Sunday’s debacle ranks with the NFL all-time “What Just Happened?” games, especially since Wentz appears to have the necessary arm, height strength and more mobility than most quarterbacks.
The temptation is to say: “He can’t read defenses that well.” OK, but he could with the Eagles early on when assistant coaches Reich, John DiFilippo and head coach (and former NFL quarterback) Doug Pederson were being widely praised for Wentz’s development, which included reading defenses and reacting in a positive manner. Unless some unknown injury is involved, – new or an old one acting up – Wentz’s decline from a potential Hall of Famer to “what’s going on?” is precipitous, remarkable and inexplicable.
Who cares, he’ll be 29 at the start of next season, the ‘what’s wrong’ portion of a pro athletes career is over at that point, and the ‘who he is’ has begun.
As a die hard eagles fan, I searched for this video to specifically brighten my day! So good! But he didn’t say he was gonna go back and watch the tape lol
