Oh STFU with this nonsense. Stop giving Gase all the credit for us going 6-2 to finish out the season. Gregg Williams and the defense carried this team to any sort of success this season. 31st ranked offense and this season was a “step forward”? Give me a break. The only reason why the offense looked good against the giants, redskins, and raiders is because Sam had to literally meet with Gase and tell him how to improve the offense. If we don’t make the playoffs again this year with this new 17 game schedule the NFL is likely pushing through, this head coach needs to go. And he can take his stooge Dowell Loggains with him too.
17 game schedule isn’t till 2021 the 7th seed will apply in 2020 so our playoff odds have improved

Continuity can mean a lot of things. Robby and Enunwa are probably both gone. DT is a Free Agent but you could retain him for cheap. Herndon was a top weapon who is returning. Then you look at FA and Sanders, while never playing with Sam knows the offensive system and could be the next best thing pending the cost. Then when you look at the draft Pittman out of USC played with Sam in college so there is some sort of report there.
All of which I’d sort of categorize under continuity with an asterisk
Joe’s gonna fix the OLine, I promise you that. Sam need’s to be in the same system to flourish as well as the other player’s. Besides Gase has won more game’s with a total injured and practice squad player’s in his first year than Bowles had in 2 year’s
The fans don’t want continuity! They want gase and everyone fired ! But then when we have a good season and are successful everyone will still blame coach gase, so there is no win with jets fans.
