since the warren sapp draft….i pay no attention to bad rep issues rumors predraft…..

slater stonewalled chase young…that is no small feat….

JOK will likely be a hybrid safety LB that spends most of his time at safety. He kinda reminds me of Isaiah Simmons and Jeremy Chinn. However if we need a box safety to replace kareem at some point soon … not bad at all. im still big on parsons. Jamin Davis is kinda ehnn. Cox is a solid option too and maybe Bolton.

    Tom Bosley

Its incredibly possible to get JOK at 9 and experiment with him in the middle while also securing KJs replacement if it doesn’t work out, and still get a quality inside guy on day 2 or 3.

    SuperBzerker

@Tom Bosley it is though I’m not high enough on JOK at 9. Maybe in the teens. And then get Richie grant from UCF if we are lucky. Generally I favor a trade down but would also really like parsons … who might also still be available if we don’t trade down lower than 15.

Tom Bosley

Taking JOK at 9 would be smart. Even if we plan on using him as a saftey he would play towards the line of scrimmage, we would have KJ’s replacement. The idea of Justin Simmons and JOK as our safeties for the foreseeable future makes me all giggly inside. There is a lot of depth in this LB class. Could even get another young guy to play inside. Chazz Surrat/Jabrill Cox/Baron Browning/Zaven Collins there is incredible depth on the Day 2 and Day 3 picks.

Just doesn’t make sense to take a huge risk on one of these QBs. The top 3 are worth the pick but we wont be able to get either of the top 3 without giving up way too much in draft capital. Keep stacking this team with talent, and give Lock a real year with the same team, same recievers, same coaches, and just let the kid ball out. I see great things coming for the Broncos.

    Christian Alvis

Ah, someone who talks sense! Seems like everyone wants to run lock outta town

    Tom Bosley

@Ayden Xavier Yup. It just makes sense to roll with Lock. I have to believe Paton is thinking the same. He’s a smart guy.

Denver hasn’t addressed the right tackle for…how many years???

More importantly, they haven’t picked up a good linebacker since Trevathan.

And what’s worse, Denver had to go through QB hell since Manning’s retirement. Now the fans want to bring the carousel back up again?!

Good lord…no wonder this would make Denver more clueless than Washington/Cleveland.

Thinking back if this team didn’t draft Lock, Drew wouldn’t have gave Denver those 4 “wins” and we’d be 3-13 had that not happened. Fangio would have been fired for sure, and Elway could have resigned as well just to avoid humilation again. Not to mention, the QB nightmare would still have continued.

And if we saw what was coming in the 2020 NFL draft, would getting a different QB have mattered? I can’t be sure.

Looking back at the history of Denver’s right tackles, Denver has gone through 8 different linemen and it has chewed up almost $50 million worth of wasted money. And thinking of what Denver’s going to have to work with in 2021, the biggest issue I’m having to digest is that if they don’t upgrade the right tackle position (Just in case James shows no signs of a comeback and/or gets hurt again) ASAP, it’s not the injured reserve that Lock’s going to be in. He’s gonna be more likely in the ER because of James being his own worse enemy and possibly end up forever losing the team’s trust for sure.

Trevor Pierce

Draft Parsons or JOK and keep building this roster.
With all the offseason work and Payton Mannings tutelage, Locks going to POP this year!

    Greggles Geronimo

Yes! Thank you! We need more athleticism in the middle of the defense. Everyone is talking about getting these low tier QBs in the first, but they aren’t going to fix this team in one off-season. Give Drew some time to develop, QB is the hardest position in sports

Broncos draft Trey lance

    Fifa Paco

Yeah trey is most similar to looks and build to mahomes in the draft plus both are being put lower in the draft because supposedly the collages they played in had no competition.

Líl Rìchy

JOK

Robert Kaslow

Slator at 9 is AWSOME!

Roger

Enough QB talk. Broncos aren’t getting a QB. That’s the only topic they beat to death. It’s useless information at this point.

    Christian Thomson

    True

Evandro Cunha

I’m not sure about picking a ILB at 9 unless it’s Parsons. I mean, if the Broncos somehow get a shot at picking Fields that’s hard to pass on. Cox could even fall to the third, people seem to overlook him, so there will be good talent at ILB later on. In the second round I would love to get Javonte Willians. From Brazil, Go Broncos!!!

    Ayden Xavier

I feel the Broncos really can’t go wrong in this Draft…but there’s definitely a few scenarios that would be fantastic. I hope Cox stays under the radar, and can you imagine getting Parsons, Cox and a CB in the first 2 rounds? Theirs good OL free agents…and Denver has plenty of cap space 😁

    Ayden Xavier

I also think Surtain, Cox and a RB/Edge in the first 2 rounds looks good too. But I’m a R. Freeman fan. Besides the horrifically obvious run calls (with pathetic blocking) he was given regularly early-on… he’s really performed when getting actual opportunities. Hell of a receiving back too.

    Ti StepHens

don’t forget second year man justin strnad, he’s a great coverage lb and could play great at mlb

Christian Thomson

I don’t think we need a new qb he just needs to develop

David Sewell

Justin Fields

Wakey wakey Eggs n bakey

Maybe we should draft Sarah Fuller… Just sayin

Lol Jk

Gotcha

Kerry ne give you a name: Jackson Erdmann. This kid had been scouted by the Vikings in 2019. He wasn’t able to play in 2020, but in 2019 he threw for over 5000, 43 tds, 10 ints,.
Very nice stats, right? Here’s the rub, he played for St. John’s university.
I say that bringing in a kid like this to help keep drew sharp and to work on his own ball skills as well… this is a good idea. You don’t have to waste any picks on him or than a litte round.
If you get a chance, watch his video– he’s really good, mobile, good arm, makes great decisions…I think he completed 77% of his passes– but don’t hold ne to that number. I know that is more than 70%.
Her might push Drew and maybe, just maybe, Erdmann can be that darkhorse…
I’d just love to see Drew be what I believe he could be. Take away half of those ints. And get Jerry Jeudy to catch the balls thrown into his hands, weeds be having a totally different conversation right now.

Micah Parsons Fields, at 9 for me! Stay beautiful Alexis

    G F

The last thing women want to hear after talking sports is “stay beautiful” she’s a football insider not a model you perv. And only morons think we need an ILb when we literally have one of the best ILB duos EVER🤣. And you don’t know football if you think Drew lock is someone worth getting rid of after 14 games

lovetheopps

Fields to Denver PLEASE
