Sorry, no! Miller has not lost a step! His “production” was just fine considering that he was double and triple-teamed nearly every play. He does produce as a high level, even if it doesn’t show up in the PFF numbers. I mean, freeing up a teammate to get a sack is still production!! And Von is not a “throw back.” There hasn’t been a player like him. But with a stronger group up front, teams won’t be able to focus on Von as they did last year and you’ll see the numbers you crave. Analytics is great, until it isn’t, and clearly this is an example when the numbers don’t accurately represent what’s happening on the field.
