Russ needs to stop trying to be a pocket passer and be himself. That last td drive of the game can probably boost Russ confidence next week.

Resto Ron

Not perfect all the way through?? It was pure crap until the last 4 minutes on offense!!! If not for the D this team would be 0-3.

Jasmine

Yea, They need to build this offense around Russ. He’s not a pocket passer.

Not one screen play agaInst 9er pass rush. Not one rollout. smh

THIS!!! Broncos ran screens left and right against Seattle. It seemed to be the only play that worked. Last 2 weeks they abandoned it. Wtf!?

TellUrMomHi

Line up under center and run use rollouts…. Why do coaches expect everyone to be manning…… I wish we had the jake Plummer offense……

    mr kneel

    Yes! Bootlegs

Let’s ride Broncos Country!

If the Niners scored 35, Russ finds a way to get 36+; it’s just the way he is.

MLP

let’s all remain calm and give this russ led broncos a chance.

Dominic Bozonier

We need will fuller john ross and kevin king from free agency and possibly odell if he’s good to go! Hinton and Cleveland aren’t doing the job

Hoof Hearted

What can be done to help Gordon from putting the ball on the ground so often? He has 3 fumbles in 3 games. Luckily we’ve been able to recover them, but it’s only a matter of time before we’re not so lucky.

David Adame

Stop watching the Russ show when he’s scrambling. Be a part of it and help him out. Get it together

it kinda seems like george paton traded for wilson without watching any 2021 tape of russ or doing any research into where wilson was at in his career, or if the hackett offense was a good fit for him, or why the seahawks tried to trade him and/or replace him multiple times throughout his career. paton has been an impressive GM so far mostly but the decision to hire hackett almost as if getting rodgers was a done deal was a bit rushed and strange..then it almost seems like he pivoted to russ quickly purely on russ’s reputation without digging into the numbers, i think if he did he probably would’ve had second thoughts. Russ has been one of the worst QBs as far as EPA per play goes for years when it comes to shotgun pass situations where the defense knows hes passing. I feel like his struggles reading the middle of the field are widely known or at least should be.. Hackett coordinated an offense with rodgers who was amazing at those reads and amazing in 3rd in long passing situations, the things that russ has been exceptional at throughout his career, creating outside of structure with his legs and throwing beautifully accurate moon balls down the sideline and on second level throws. those things dont fit well with the kind of offense hackett coordinated in green bay that required the QB to work well within structure and go through his progressions and make tight window anticipatory throws, a lot of those throws being in-breakers or comebacks over the middle. Russ hasnt shown he’s capable of those things at any point in his career, he thinks he is, which is worrisome. If you put all of the above together you get a terrible offense which is what we’ve seen so far. I dont have a ton of hope for it going forward either unless Russ can turn back the clock.
