He had some bad overthrows and that INT wasn’t great either but honestly he can’t have a perfect 4 TD, 350yd game every Sunday either. So I don’t put all the blame on him but good god even when he does ball out, the defense or o-line or coaching fails him so whatever.

Matt is the reason we lost. He can’t move the offense. One or two td drives a game won’t make it in the NFL.

They scored 26 points the defense gave up 30 mostly to the backup in a quarter. Matt gone have hiccups he can’t be perfect every Sunday defense getting paid too.

LA Ryan U can’t simply blame Matt Ryan 100%, that’s typical Falcons fan logic.

The thing is that the whole team just crumbled and this happens not periodically, but occasionally, which is not a good sign.

The way the defense is coming apart in the second half ..l don’t think we beat Carolina or the Viking after we get a beat down from the packers monday.

Oddly, they have a funny way of showing up and playing well unexpectedly against good teams on the road. When we don’t think they’ll do much, they play up to their potential. We’ll see.

Nick bagnulo I agree with firing the coaches. But what sucks about Ryan’s situation is he’s had, I believe, five OC changes in the last 12 seasons. In contrast, Drew Brees has had the same HC/OC for the last 13 years. MR2 makes mistakes from time to time, but he also owns the all time NFL record for most come from behind wins with less than 1 minute left in NFL history. If he had a top 5 head coach for his entire career then that stat probably wouldn’t be necessary.

Matt made almost all of those fourth quarter comebacks early in his career. Ha cannot lead the offense and this game proved it. That first drive touchdown surprised everyone and he did nothing else the entire game besides the third quarter touchdown. At least the Bears had enough sense to change quarterbacks but since DQ has no clue of how an offense runs he will continue to let Matt ruin drives.

LA Ryan it’s the play calling. We barely ran the ball when we were up by like 10 so we went three and out on 3 incompletions setting them up to score easily. Dirk can’t run the damn ball.

@LA Ryan What the hell are you talking about? If an offense is averaging more than 25 points a game the problem is not the quarterback. If you’ve ever watched a little football, most teams only get a few good drives a game. There are only 4 other teams that score more points per game than Atlanta so far this yr. All of those other teams are undefeated and in first place.

@James Barker No you are right. I wasn’t saying he is mistake free. But look at how much Matt does to put the team in a good position and the defense collapses week after week. You can only put the team on your shoulders so much before you slip up and that is true for any QB

@James Barker it kinda did… gage got hurt.. julio was out. ridley was being triple teamed. Matt had some good throws to powell and zaccheus but they’re not julio or calvin and couldn’t get to the spots. that last pick was on Matt though because he can’t lead ridley into a post if the safety is in position. he knows it. but you’re telling me that matt has to be perfect.. bears last 4 possessions: TD, TD, TD, qb kneel.. those are matt’s fault?

FatBoyJACKED ok so we are just going to negate that the commentary of the game and Murph, himself said that that was a throw that was able to be made and it was a hi low cover 2 zone that Ridley split perfect position to make a catch. Also I never solely blamed Matt for the game.

Despite injuries and other setbacks, the falcons had a chance to win the game. The dumbest decision a team can make is throwing the ball with five minutes left on the clock, especially when you are winning the game! That entire series helped the bears save two or three minutes on the game clock and get the ball back. I am also tired of hearing Matt Ryan is not at fault. Ryan should have called a timeout during that series and told the coaches to run the damn ball! If they refuse, just call an audible and hand off the ball to your running back. Matt Ryan has been drinking to much of the Dan Quinn “we need to get it done” “we need to execute” kool aid. The falcons need to draft a QB and put Ryan on notice. This guy does not look or act hungry to win, and falcons nation needs a QB with grit and determination to lead us back from the abyss.

I agree they never put a real defense around him we was always coming from behind or giving up leads. He won alot of those games for us. Matt is not the problem right now.
