Nope. Not when Quincy williams had coverage on the te lined up in front of him and cj has RB coverage. That’s why Quincy was in no man’s land on that play. Cj answering the questions like that on purpose to not throw his teammate under the bus because he is a leader
He made a BIG mistake
Complimentary football, we don’t see anyone decimating special teams right now. We performed out of our minds but we were still supposed to be a year away. We get some consistency down in some key areas and we still can make a run at playoffs ✈️
the biggest haters are always the ones that clearly don’t know football…when the TE gets up in someone’s face and starts blocking you look for the run, if you want your LBs to run with the blockers instead of penetrating them sure you might stop that one 4th down call but you’re going to get blown up in all the other runs. The focus is going to be that 4th-and-1 but there were a hundred other snaps in that game you can also analyze. CJ’s a good linebacker and the defense played very well today.

Well cj getting the blame but if you watch the video you can see Quincy Williams had the te in coverage not cj. Cj had the running back and Quincy was stuck in no man’s land
Great defenses don’t go 4 games without a turnover.
Love CJ Sauce Garrett the whole team. I’m sure that won’t happen again! You can’t give up a TD ever in that situation!
CJ is a top linebacker in the league, and the Captain of this defense. They know they balled out yet again today and can only do so much to give this team a chance to win. The defense played great today, one play doesn’t define a game’s performance.
2nd week in a row c.j .the entire defense was good. the defense had no pass rush and didn’t stop the lions .we were up 17 -10 you can’t give up a touchdown
2 weeks in a row (last week where hes a veteran that got faked out ) & today he gets faked out again…3 more games left before his jet career ends..hopefully we can draft & or sign a good coverage linebacker

Quincy williams had coverage on the TE. Look at the video and you will see TE lined up in front of Quincy and he was stuck in no man’s land because he got sucked in. Cj has rb coverage which is typical for the middle Lb to have.

If this guy wants to stay with jets he needs to take a paycut next year. He’s no longer a great player. He’s slightly above average.
