Wentz is plagued by not knowing how to quit | Pro Football Talk | NBC Sports

Why u mad28

Bro mahomes has 3x the amount of turnovers as Wentz and you still crucify him meanwhile praise mahomes

    j c

    Ikr

    Braylen

literally made a couple of bad throws after playing great rest of the season. now he’s seen as bad. tbh the game should of been over at halftime if the colts didn’t fumble an interception

    Aimore

Mahomes throws a interception with his left hand and it’s “mahomes magic”, but when Carson does it to avoid taking a game sealing safety he’s the laughing stock of the league.

    Braylen

@Aimore literally just waiting for 1 bad game, i hope he absolutely tears up the league the last half of this year

    Bill Janas

Stafford literally did the same thing and didn’t crucify him. Wentz would’ve been a safety and Stafford wasn’t. The media needs a scapegoat

Marco McDowell

I must’ve watched the wrong game. I thought the Colts won. Wentz has 17 pass TDs, one rush and 3 INTS with a QBR of 100. One game is going to stick with King hahahaha.

    Matt Hill

Dudes are clowns. They know it gives them good ratings is why they do it

    Steve B.

If he was a wearing the uniform of his beloved Patriots he would have Wentz in the Hall of Fame

    G

Incorrect. That’s his passer rating. Not his QBR.

Viewer

Wentz could lead the league in TDs and these guys would find something to dog him for

    Daniel Duron

The media hates this man so much. He makes a mistake, “he is awful”. He plays good, they either don’t talk about it or they go back to a mistake he made in previous games. What did Wentz do to this people😂

    Braylen

    @Daniel Duron absolutely ridiculous

    Cameron Robinson

@Daniel Duron He won’t talk to them. He doesn’t acknowledge them and he gave his only real sit down to Pat McAfee. The majors are still butt hurt.

HurshRd

Lmao. Media won’t let that Titans game go.

HurshRd

They trash him for the INT and don’t praise him for taking colts down field for the tie.

    _______________

Also if he just throws it away it’s intentional grounding and a safety, Colts never get the ball back.

    HurshRd

@_______________ Even a punt there would of been bad.

    1LF jewelz

RIGHT AFTER THE INT TOO lol that takes so much swag

Wayne Haskins

If he throws it at lineman feet isn’t that a penalty and results in a safety

    _______________

    Yes

    Brandon Cetta

Yes honestly the play call was terrible but that was actually the best outcome was a pick 6 right there

    Matt Hill

Yes and then they would have to kick the ball off to the opposing team and they would just run the clock out.

    brendan gilmartin

@Brandon Cetta well throwing at someone’s feet was the best play. But pick six was 100% better then saftey.

Braylen

Lmao didn’t wentz just play flawless, this guy can’t get a break.

    YourBrotherJoe Productions

Just 8 incompletions in the game. Along with 3 TDs and almost 300 Yards. That is a perfect game

    David Macy

He did take some unnecessary big hits where he could have slid. There are still some other areas to clean up, such as also the late game decisions. Yes overall he did play really well in this game though.

    C Truth

@David Macy False narrative. Wentz took 1 hit. Hits happen. Wentz got back up and ripped apart the Jets secondary —-that is what matters.

    David Macy

@C Truth Just makes me nervous is all since he is injury prone.

LeifErikson

i like how the dog him eventhough his stats are really good compared to most qbs in the nfl and they act like noone else is stuggling… just a guy who threw for 15 td and 2 picks in the last 6 weeks gtfo with that

Dave Holen

Don’t matter how bad mahomes is they don’t say anything bad about him. Great quarterbacks make dumb mistakes. So give Wentz a break!

Sebastian Heine

The man broke Peyton Manning’s record for most throws without a a touchdown in Indy. Give this man so respect, he has balled out.

    Nathan Suksengdow

Do u mean without an interception

    Sebastian Heine

    @Nathan Suksengdow yes. My mistake

kou moua

What did wentz do to yall?? Yall hate this man’s guts and yall ain’t even half this man. Smh

William Young

If you’re going to talk about Wentz’s bad habits, you also need to talk about Garoppolo.

Prototype Productions

If Jimmy G is worth a 2, then Carson is worth a 1. And they have to live with that.

Master Of The Craft

17 TDS and 3INT shut up media! Y’all over doing it

Ploni Almoni

It’s kind of pathetic to talk about the Titans game after the Jets game. Move on people.

Alan Fagan

Stop hating on Carson
Great to see him having fun playing some good football
Yes he is prone to some boneheaded plays
All QBs have some flaws
His are magnified for some reason
Not fair

Cody Schoonover

Man the Wentz hate is outrageous. It’s like they are hawks circling for any opportunity to criticize him…

Russell Sailor

When Wentz had 3 Titans on him in the end zone, he seemed a bit panicked……Is this guy serious?

Tim from the basement

Peter King has always been a Carson Wentz hater, so there’s no surprise here 💯

Ryan Peterson

If Wentz had thrown the ball “at the guards feet” it would have been intentional grounding. He was in the tackle box. He was in his own end zone. That would have been an automatic safety. This criticism is stupid.
