I feel like that’s a bullish statement, we were supposed to be a top 10 defend the last two to 3 years I feel like and it never happened like at all. I mean yeah it’s a different year and different coaches but with this team it feels like we expect and nothing comes out of it. It’s totally possible but I’ll hold my breath before I say that’s going to happen you know.

That dumass 3-4 was part of the problem players outta position i was tired of our run defense pray we light backs and QBs up this yr

@John McAdams We had a horrible DC, and overall a barely average coaching staff, with a couple exceptions, now we’ve got a very decent staff, running a big play offense(the same type of system that Joe Gibbs ran), sky’s the limit. If the left side of the line shapes up, we’re an 8-8 team.

ken fields I agree about the staff, but I still don’t like making presumptions because of what we look like on paper. That doesn’t creat results. Going back to the 4-3 will definitely help. We never had the speed in the LB department to be successful in a 3-4 defense. Still I do not like making the assumption that we are going to be top 10, are defense is unproven and has not taken a snap in real time so until then I’ll keep us right in the middle of the pack

Psshh… he cant stay healty… those LSU running backs are overrated.
