No, thats really not all we can ask.
Who were the Raiders going to get to replace Parker/Leatherwood was the #1 topic of discussion among everyone from he end of last season through the off season, wether Raiders fan or media anywhere across the nfl.

Making a great move like Adams is an obvious win. But not getting someone like Williams or other great o-line to protect Carr should be as simple a decision. Especially when we let go of of Mariota. DC gets hurt and the season is over. Protect him so he can use the added weapon of Adams. We don’t need 3&4 year contracts of other lineman, and promising rookies are a dime a dozen- getting an experienced lineman on a 1 year deal until Leatherwood can get dialed in all the way makes sense. Instead we have 1, just 1 exceptional lineman- Miller. If he gets hurt then what? Parker? SMH.
