This d line went from good to dominate as soon as Vea was announced to start.
Vita vea was spectacular eatin the double teams in the line, allowing are OLB to attack 1 on 1

He played a big part vs GB and he’ll also be a big piece vs the chiefs. Remember we didnt have vita he was hurt hes gonna collapse that pocket allowing our ends to eat and not letting mahomes step into his throws. You wanna beat mahomes collapse him on all sides. Plus AB is more comfortable with the system then he was the first time we faced them. A DT won it is crazy tho lol

Both starting tackles are out for the Chiefs as well. Even though he’s getting paid 30+ million a year to throw a football, I feel sorry for Mahomes knowing what’s going to happen when Jason Pierre Paul and Shaquill Barrett line up on two backup tackles. Oh, and then there’s Vita Vea. Yeah, Mahomes is getting rocked on February 7th

@Saviron Hipps I disagree. The defense did not carry them in that Redskins wild card game. They made Taylor Heinicke look like the second coming of Peyton Manning. Plus, they didn’t play so great against the Chargers, Falcons, and some of the regular season games against the Saints. They’re a lot better now, and that’s all that matters. It’s the secondary that still needs work.
@James F. yea Washingtons put on a performance no doubt about that. But the defense showed up when needed to. Maybe carried was the wrong wording but usually this defense cracks under pressure but they did carry these past two games for sure against two great offenses. Vita being back and hopefully Winfield would be awesome
