@Joebin thats kind of true but literally no model is sustainable in the modern Era of football. You have to rebuild(or re-tool) every 4 years even if you built through the draft.

Mahomes will be fine without Tyreek – there will be other speedy guys…

The Chicago Bears had a speed guy in 2006 – he was a rookie – …. Devin Hester.

The next year or 2, they drafted another guy about just as fast – Johnny Knox …. in the 7th ROUND!!!!

And Johnny caught plenty of big 1st downs and Touchdowns. One time Chris Colinsworth even said “Someone has to make a play here… and I think that guy on this team is Johnny Knox”

So you can find fast guys like that in the draft.

@BuffaloRocks! You didn’t listen to what they said. Miami is not going to get rid of him even if he plays poorly. They will have paid him 52M after one year and given up 5 picks. He will be in Miami for 3 years regardless of how badly he plays. After that it won’t matter because at 31 years old he will be in decline.

Hill was a 5th rounder!!!!!!! Look I hate him but what he did as a 5th rounder rookie was pretty good honestly.

@VaderRaider that and he was basically used on special teams for his rookie year. It took him a while to break out of that role.

He WAS #2 Wr behind Maclin and he was the best punt returner

He doesn’t catch the ball consistently, and that’s being generous. He’s hurt and misses more time each year. Not to mention the NFLs golden rule, never pay a slot receiver like he’s the X receiver. Let the Dolphins pay for that. Chiefs kingdom thanks you Miami for the generous offer of 5 picks in return.

@Stephen Granger Hill lead the team in receptions, yards and touchdowns, he’s the receiver your whole success was built around so if you don’t want to pay the receiver that meant that much to your team then he was right to leave.
