Ngl I woulda liked to see us take Alec* Pierce BUT Tyquan looks like a deadly weapon. I hope we use him right and he’s reliable bc if so, he’s gonna help blow the top off of defenses for years to come 😉 Go Pats!

    @John Doh Apparently there are some attitude/off-the-field things with Pickens I wasn’t aware of. But yea, assuming we could iron out the issues, Pickens is an amazing WR he woulda been nice too. But tbf I was down on the Mac Jones pick last year and look what happened. So.. let’s see how Tyquan does

What I like about this pick is that defenses won’t be able to stack the box like they did last year against us. They’ll have to respect the threat of a deep pass now.

    @XXIIIARESXXIII theres no way. 1st we mostly red shirt rookies 2nd he’s going to be the 4th WR behind Bourne Nelson and Parker that doesn’t include Hunter Henry or Myers. He’ll be the 4th option at best and probably not play much the 1st half of the season.

So far, a guard that can start right away (only way to look at it) to help keep Mac on his feet and a Speed Demon (with height) to play opposite Devante Parker. The Pats needed the Over the top receiver to open up the middle of the field. Thornton deep, Parker intermediate, Bourne and Meyers short to intermediate. And White or Montgomery coming out of the backfield.

And all of them can run slants, digs, etc.

P.S. Tyquan did a 40-time of 4.21 (breaking the record, there’s a YT video I saw), but the NFL changed it to 4.28

He said he expected to be drafted tonight so he has some level of confirmation from teams and there are multiple reports of teams planning on drafting him on the second round. I think bill just doesn’t care about optics compared to other team and picks who it wants

    Man I said the same thing. That’s one thing I gave our team so credit for cuz we never had the best receivers we never had the fastest receivers not a single one and now we actually have probably the fastest receiver in the NFL right now that’s going to be crazy

    I really hope so but we still haven’t solved the problem on defense(have only made it worse this offseason probably). We still need guys that can force the Bills to punt and now to shutdown Tyreek Hill.

I’m skeptical… but I don’t want to completely overlook him. As he is now I don’t think he’s a great wr but he has the tools to become one so lets hope for the best. Same goes for Strange.

Yes that’s what we needed, a speed receiver, we haven’t had a real one since Cooks stopped by for a glass of Sweet New England Tea, Emperor Belichick kept looking for Moss 2.0 in the draft, and we sucked at drafting WRs outside of the slot, honestly we Got a deep threat now, we got Jacoby in the middle of the field, we have twin receiving TEs, Bourne in the slot, & we might still have Nkeal (maybe) on the outside. I Just described an Air Raid or Spread offense basically, we got the pieces for it to work.
