Dang he’s got the arm and the legs but the big question is how does he adapt to pressure since he never was under any major pressure when he was playing

If he gets picked up by the Panthers, he may not have to play his first year. Learning under Bridgewater will get him acclimated to the NFL and Fitterer will likely be getting more OL help for him through draft and FA
I watched the central Arkansas game and he was pressured consistently all day. Results mixed.
THis can be said about all the top qbs in the this draft especially Mac Jones

Yeah well its pretty nerve wrecking when you got 30 NFL teams, 9 GMs, and 4 Head coches standing right behind you watching and criticizing your every move.

@Mrsamuraij I Nah mate. He’s not better than Mahomes. This is just a pro day. So far we don’t know how good he will be. He looks good, but he hasn’t played many college starts, and hasn’t played a snap in over a year. It’s all question marks to me.

dudes definitely a top 10 pick, he’s the prototype QB. 6’4 great arm strength, very good athleticism for a QB. I could see him being the best QB in this draft.
He’s not even worthy of a first round pick, top 10 is ridiculous.

Herbert isn’t nearly as good as a runner. Lance doesn’t beat him out by much but he still does.

He looked good expect for probably like 2 or 3 throws that were difficult throws great arm strength and he can run to and he didn’t even showcase that he’s gonna be good
He’s severely lacking in football IQ though. He has the potential to be good, but he’s a very boom or bust prospect

Trey’s a project, it’s going to take a year or two for him to catch up. Not a polished passer
His short to intermediate throws look great but his deep throws concern me a little but he’s got it all I think he’s more pro ready than a lot of people think
he has the deep ball accuracy in irl games as a positive
Reminds me a little of Josh Allen he can overthrow a couple times in his first season and then he does Great from there on

The talk around him reminds me of Josh Allen. Big arm, athletic, accuracy concerns, not thought of as an immediate starter/more likely to contribute by year 2 or 3.
Interesting…..maybe another Josh Allen type of player? Can move when he needs too, but in the next few years he will show better long pass accuracy. He’s very interesting to look at. Only knock on him is his short college career as a starter, and not playing for a year.

I do not like the long arm motion. I like the kid if he sits a year. But you gotta get him to snap that ball. Flick it. Kapernick is a really good comp for this kid. But Donovan McNabb is who i see as his ceiling. Which, guys a Hof so
I remember when I was in highschool someone told me Trey Lance is the best QB that no one knew about. Now I look back on that kid who said that as a fortune teller
