im beyond mad about ross not being grabbed this is insane:(

    D1 Heat

    @Moon Illusions he wasn’t awful

    SkipToMyLou

    Stop watching football

    D1 Heat

@SkipToMyLou how was he awful his QB broke down in the pocket every time pressure came

    Zenzu

@Kareem Rivers dude almost was paralyzed from a neck injury in like his jr year, I’m sure that’s why he wasn’t drafted

    BIGheadSimmons

    😂🤣😂🤣

Kareem Rivers

Good stuff. Go Jags!!

SkipToMyLou

Can’t believe some of y’all still wanted to waste a pick on guy that’s going undrafted. After Tyson and griffin we really have no depth at cb. I give the jags B+ overall. One of the best draft class we’ve had in a while!

    Upstart Crow

@King Cannon Honestly, we probably wouldn’t be much worse off if I were. Of course I’m being a bit hyperbolic though.

    Mind Set

@Upstart Crow because you can’t draft starters with every pick and can’t fix everything in one year. So you have to draft valuable players to build a TEAM and depth to allow starters to get a breather without to much drop off at the position

    Upstart Crow

@Mind Set I understand the importance of depth, but it is even more important to have good starters at most positions than it is to have good backups at one position. That’s something I’m sure even you would agree with.

    The Walking Jed

@Upstart Crow That God you aren’t an analyst!

    Upstart Crow

@The Walking Jed Multiple analysts are saying the same thing.

    Sounds like a Cliché

Mac Cooper

I’m happy we drafted Moe Brown CB out of Arkansas. Guys a worker and I’ve watched a lot of his play being a Razorbacks fan

    Daniel Boltz

It’s crazy he was drafted after the small school cb. His tape looks miles better. MO looks like a baller tho

    ManOfCrusades

Im excited bout Grant Morgan ufa.

    Mac Cooper

    @ManOfCrusades super excited.

Please sign Justin ross

Zenzu

Y’all better sign Justyn Ross as a udfa since you didn’t touch the WR position, see if he and Trevor can make some Clemson magic happen

Volkfang

Everything done after Fortner has just been baffling to me. They lost a lot of games last year not being able to score early so of course they’re not going to draft an immediate offensive upgrades. Typically do well in UDFA but tell me you’d rather have Allen Hurns over Allen Robinson.

    CameronHuff

A good defense will make it so the offense doesn’t have to put up as many points thus taking pressure of T Law who got an upgrade on the offensive side with Scherff being a big signing as well as Kirk where I believe having Kirk there will actually maximize performance from Marvin Jones & Zay Jones/Shenault. I think the 2023 draft could be where jags pickup a stud WR for Lawrence along with solidifying the OL to a really promising point

    Volkfang

Sorry but I have to disagree. I’d rather lose games this year because our defense can’t stop anyone instead of having another disheartening offensive year. They really needed to give Trevor weapons this year to get comfortable with for the next 4+ years. I think Etienne and Kirk are the only ones really guarenteed to be here in year 4.

1.JAGS 2.TITANS 3.COLTS 4. TEXANS THE END

I once remarked to a coach that the defense is the most important part of a team, he looked at me and said if you don’t have a good offense that can score points your defense does not appear as important. He said the tools have to be there for offense.

The draft didn’t go the way I invisioned it but after looking at the moves and guys available at thier spots I really like what they’ve done. Addressed the trenches on both sides with bluechip talent LBs for depth and different looks to help stop the run in the AFC south, got a few steals and in combination with our FA signings we are miles ahead of last year and should give TL all kinds of confidence. Hope they come in and mesh well, learn thier roles and get some wins. When you beef up the trenches and front 7 while also addressing special teams, being able to run the ball all takes pressure of TL and is a recipe for winning IMO. Now more development needed for all and chemistry building but I feel really good about what they’ve done so far. Go jags.

David Hoblit

Build through the draft, but with the 19 rookies they invited to camp will be interesting to see who shows up.

Andrew Matthews

To everyone saying get Ross for wr he is too much of an injury risk to take. His spinal injury is very concerning and one bad hit or land could end him. We took two wr already with undrafted rookies so we are good. I get it bc he was at Clemson with Trevor but it’s too high a risk with him plus he’s coming off a foot injury too

Patrick Jackson

@07:00 Do your research press folk, you could see Doug smirking as they showed their ignorance!

mccraejoey82

I didn’t like none of our draft picks at all 🤷🏾‍♂️

    Rapsheets

second first round was an excellent pick, and third round will both start day one. both great picks. i didn’t like the walker pick but it is what it is.

Heather Stuff

Not excited about this draft class at all the Devin loyd pick was good the rest were meh… But I was excited bout the last few drafts and that didn’t work out so maybe I’m wrong

Keifer Woods

I have nothing against the players picked. They honestly all look like studs where they were drafted, the only concern is Travon Walker just because he didn’t put up the numbers that Hutchinson did, but Walker is still way more athletic so 🤷🏻‍♂️

But I have one question; why no help for T-Law and the rest of the offense in an absolutely STACKED offense in this draft class?

    Joel Atkinson

To be fair walker didnt put up any numbers and the film doesn’t look good. Mostly guys chasing dudes into him but great athlete so fingers crossed, shouldn’t have to cross your fingers with a number 1 pick tho. Go jags

DasKold Blooded

The Defense should be way better this year. I’m excited to see that.

Would have loved Jerome Ford at RB as opposed to Snoop but I feel better about having someone else in that room especially while making sure Jrob comes back healthy.

Let’s trust the process for what Doug envisions for the offense. We’d be in better position to address WR and TE next year if it’s still necessary.
