As it turns out, here in the 3rd quarter with the Chargers up 27-10, the Steelers backups on defense didn’t even get on the plane. While a couple guys (Heyward, Highsmith, and Schobert) have tried hard, the rest of the defense seems afraid to hurt their vaginas, as you can see the score at this point.
I just watched Greg Lloyd talk about being inducted into the Ring of Honor (about time!) and seeing these defenders tonight, the contrast is night and day! These guys couldn’t even look Lloyd in the eyes, he’d shame them and their “effort” with just a glance. They should be ashamed.
