I have been saying for years that Bo Jackson clearly belongs in the Hall of Fame. But, he was a Raider and his talent overshadowed so many other lesser players who are in the HOF he will likely never get in. There are many players who would have been in the HOF if not for injury but they are somehow not honored. Its a shame.
Bo is a Unicorn, One of a kind Person and Player.. He was everywhere when I was growing up. Commercials, Stores and all the marketing They did with Bo had him in everyone’s sites all day every day..

I was at the L A memorial coliseum for that bitter sweet play off game. And a few more during his time with L A. He was everything they say he was. It was a privilege to see him play, live and a tragedy to watch him get injured irreparably.

Bo Knows! He is great for what he accomplished in such a short time can’t believe that his career was cut short by an infection related to his hip injury. One of my all time favorite Raiders.
My son still has my black and blue Bo jackson poster on his wall from my childhood. Also still have my starring lineup sealed Bo jackson figure that has never been in the light, stashed in my raiders chest.
