@Hunter Smith yea he missed those but when he was in the playoffs he helped us win a Super Bowl and that’s way more important than missing some games because of injury. Remember that! Without him we may not have won a Super Bowl at all! So be happy for what he gave not what he missed

Sammy gave all his effort when he could. Even in the Miami game last season, it wasn’t going good for us. He caught a pass and hurdled a defender, trying to get the team hyped. He didn’t play every game, but he was like the corvette you keep garaged until the special occasions you want to drive with extra power!
Sad to see you go Sammy. Many thanks for your excellent and hard work for the team we love. Wishing you all the best in your career moving forward!

As a Ravens’ fan, it’s cool to see all of the love from the Chiefs’ fans for Sammy. Says a lot about a guy, especially a public figure, for what seems like, at least from these comments, universal respect for what Sammy brought to KC as a player and member of the community. Makes me excited to welcome him to Bmore. I have always been a fan of Sammy. He’s a piece of the puzzle that we’ve been missing — especially when we play teams with high powered quick strike offenses like the Chiefs!! Gives us the ability to respond in kind when necessary and brings another dimension to our offense in general. I can’t wait to see him perform in Black & Purple — hopefully for years to come! See you guys in the playoffs!!
