Passing game by Taysom Hill and the offense is improving so better. Where was Calloway earlier this year? Defense feeding off of the offense’s scoring and long field drives. Def want Taysom to play in the pocket more to get a feel for the playoffs. 49ers beating the Rams with a rookie? I don’t see that happening at all. Trevor may be a better passer, but Taysom is a better playmaker, Taysom Time Haters, HAHAHAHA

    I covered every aspect of training camp. Taysom’s stats were far better than Siemian. And Taysom is a rookie at NFL QB. He has only gotten better since then. He is throwing dimes now. And doing it with mallet finger, no o-line, and a poor receiving core.

Imagine being Taysom and knowing that no matter how you perform and no matter how far the team gets into the playoffs, you’re done as a starting QB in NO after this year. Even if the Saints put together a Super Bowl run somehow, Taysom is out after this season.

    I’m a Taysom fan. Have been for years. I’m an Idahoan like him. Like I said in my OP – I’m pulling for him.

    What I’m saying is this: as much as any of us like him, the fact that he wasn’t made the starter week one after putting in the time he’d put in with the team tells me they don’t think he’s the guy.

    If he’s starting week 1 next year, I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

    @Sanchito45 my bad, read that wrong, Winston had that really good 2nd pre-season game which made it hard for Payton to start Hill over Winston, but Payton likes Hill enough where if Hill shows him he can do this with more starting qb experience, Payton is going to give him a fair shot at it.

    @Sanchito45 I mean think about it, this year, Payton decided to put all the marbles into sticking with mainly just two qb’s, Winston with all his struggles at TB, and Hill who only had four games of starting qb experience. He was willing to try the qb experiment with both of them this year instead of bringing in someone else that had proven more already as a qb.

    @Joy Bischoffhe has improved, sure and realy hope he has a break out passing game against Atlanta and has a legit chance to be a starter. Still I think his ceiling is a number 15 best qb but definitely a worthy starter, not franchise. Hope I am wrong because he is awesome and fun to watch

Taysom is improving with every rep. He is also starting to establish a connection with Calloway like he did last year with Thomas. We just need to get our starting offensive line back and keep giving Taysom reps and it will pay dividends.
