@Fenix Down23 It is the same team. You are now pointing out all the injuries because Taysom sucks. Taysom had every opposite to win the game, but he could not because he cannot make throws that Jameis can make. Whether Kamara was there or not, the Saints should have won the game but for Taysom. Who was injured had nothing to do with the loss.

Over 300 yards of offense was generated by 1 guy but so was 4 turnovers every week he will get better and won’t be fighting 2 injuries at the same time he still fighting

@Calvert Williamson Actually had the offense moving the ball down the field before the 4th quarter and prevent D. Had the offense at over 400 yards total offense. Some great plays with his legs. Extended plays by being able to get out of the pocket with a patchwork O-line missing key starters and not playing great. Kept the game close until it all fell apart with his picks. Taysom didn’t play great, but I’d like to see him get some more chances. Sounds like he tore a tendon in his middle finger though so he may be out.

Nobody can win in these conditions but he tried to carry this team as much as he could with 2 injuries using all the god given tools he has got

No this guy didnt just walk onto the team. he knows the system and knows payton would rather you throw into the ground than throw an interception. he knows the routes and the receivers and still throws interceptions. No excuse.

@bill jenkins There is a difference being a few game fill in and actually knowing that you will be the starter. Not to mention he hasn’t started a game all season. They have to get up to game speed and get in sync with the team. Starting qb in the NFL is probably the most difficult position in all of sports. I’m just saying…you have to give him at least several games to get acclimated, as the starter, before you cast him out. It’s not like there are better options right now.

@Lester Hayes he’s not our future but unfortunately he’s our best option unless they want to give Book a shot. Hopefully they do. Trevor definitely not the answer even if it’s temporary. He can’t even get us in fg range let alone any points in the first half of a game. He only scores when the defense starts playing prevent and the game is out of hand.

@Prof T. McStine I think it is comical you should mention excuses when Winston promoters like you do nothing but make excuses. Instead let me present you with the facts:

So let me start by saying only one opinion counts and that is the opinion of the head coach and this head coach supports Taysom 100%. Now let me lay out the facts as to why Sean feels this way:

1) The Saints faced a top 10 defense with 50% of their offensive starters out (Number 1 WR out, Number 1 RB out, Number 1 TE out, Number 1 LT out, Number 1 RT out, Number 1 LG out, Number 1 FB inactive,)

2) Taysom played against this top 10 defense with an injured foot and a splint on the middle finger of his throwing hand which clearly impacted his throwing accuracy leading to interceptions.

3) Those interceptions came late in the game only after Taysom had an injured hand, and was pressing to win this game while under duress from a fierce pass rush which in a couple of those interceptions the ball was either tipped or his arm was hit by a defender.

4) After all of the obstacles Taysom had to deal with like getting ZERO help from his supporting cast he still managed to pass for 264 yards and rush for over 100 yards.

Bottom Line: Give Taysom some support and you will see this team take off offensively. He literally tried to put this team on his back and carry them

He either needs to fix his finger and foot or stay on the bench. He played f horrible! Four int’s and they were not even close. Dallas Defense has 1 horrible corner and 1 that gets beat deep all the dam time!

You’ll go to war with him? He’s not a good “shooter” if you go to war with him. He’ll drop the weapon multiple times in battle. If you intend to run behind him as a body shield, then yeah.
