@Antman I have a grip. My response was based on all of the armchair QB’s who think they have all the answers and will not give this man a chance. He has only started 6 NFL games and is showing improvement every game yet folks like you make definitive statements like you are the head coach and say: “Yes, starting QB for the rest of this year only!!!! You don’t know that and unless you are Sean Payton your words are meaningless.

@JWS Yes, I made definitive statement and Sean will be doing the evaluation of Taysom not arm chair QB’s like me or NFL players (credible) that have played the game and knows what to look for at the QB position. I understand you really want this for Taysom but he’s been playing QB for how long now? Every since he’s been a little kid and he can’t get his footwork in the pocket right, his deep ball is like a punt and can’t go through his progressions fast enough. Oh, and is only reading half the field right now so the evidence is slapping you in the face but you refuse to acknowledge. I like Taysom and to be honest who doesn’t like him because he is exciting to watch when he’s running over people and jumping over defenders like a running back or tight end. Not many QB’s are doing that right. You know why? Because franchise QB’s don’t do that. He has a skill set that Sean likes and he was paid as such.

@JWS Also, I was responding to the original post which was a “definitive statement” about Taysom being the start QB moving forward so have that same energy for that person because like said only Sean will make that decision. Just saying bro.

@Antman You know what! You laid out your assessment and opinion and that is your prerogative and that is fair. I totally disagree with it and the reason why I disagree is because he finally has a chance to get real reps and real playing time with this team and I believe he will continue to grow in this system. But, at the end of the day time will tell who is right or wrong. Unlike some folks (not saying you) but some folks I am holding out judgment until he has had ample opportunities. 6 starts in my mind does not equate to ample opportunity so we shall see!

@Peter Winkler Hill can become like Brees but with additional speedy running capability. I suspect Brees had a chronic shoulder injury his last few years which is why he was not able to stretch the field much anymore. If Hill does not learn how to stretch the field, maybe he can perfect his short to intermediate range precision Brees like craft, but also be able to take off down the field if the pocket collapses.

You guys are delusional 😒. Heck of an athlete, but he can’t make the pro style passes we’ll need to keep defenses honest.

@projkt soul You didn’t go a few rounds. You are a light weight. Taysom had a 71% completion rate against the Jets so do some research before you post. That completion rate is off the charts! As far as my memory is concerned it is perfect. I know who you are! You are just another Hill hater in a long line of Hill haters who constantly promotes Winston and it is so clear why that is!
