He had one big run near the end of the game. Prior to the 40-yard run (which btw, was aided by some horrific tackling), he had 29 yards on 11 carries–or 2.63 YPC. So, let’s tap the brakes on the latest shiny rock fans are infatuated with (let’s not forget, many of these same fans had been raving about Xavier Woods for the past three years–he’s a journeyman–at best). Elliott may no longer have long-speed, but his ability to carry a heavy workload, be durable, career YPC and ability to make something out of nothing is far superior than Pollard.

    Fresch A Fool!

    What about Pollards yards through the air? See how you idiotic Zeke stans always wanna leave out complete context. And Pollard didn’t fumble at all.. something Zeke stans can’t say

    Kiel Hayes

    @Fresch A Fool! BIG FACTS!!!!

    Ricky like Bobby

    RB is the easiest position to replace. They should’ve never paid Zeke. No one should ever pay a RB, unless they’re like CMC and Kamara who are basically receivers as well as running backs.

Deezboyz Justwin

The red rifle dropping dimes rolling to his right Zeke is still out back pollard is good and more explosive Zeke is a power back that wears defenses down that help everyone

    Anti

    Lol

    Deezboyz Justwin

    @Anti you still trolling

Fresch A Fool!

I was always for trading Ezekiel Elliot when he got too big for his britches.. the Cowboys don’t need Zeke and can fly right without him.

    U weird

    Zeke da goat

Tyler Durden

If only Dallas could’ve played the worst teams in the league all season long

    Chase Dyer

    SF has a top 5-10 defense lol

    Tyler Durden

    @Chase Dyer and they have a bottom 5-10 offense lol

    Chase Dyer

    @Tyler Durden Well DAL has the worst defense so I guess that means they played well 😂

    James Macias

    @Chase Dyer your ill-advised, Cowboys defense rank 23rd. Yes their Rush defense is last 32nd but their passing defense is 6th.

    Tyler Durden

    @Chase Dyer hence me saying if only they could play the worst teams in the league all season…

I think the problem with the anti-Zeke argument is how it’s phrased. Yes Zeke’s been worse this year and we understand why. But the argument about his contract is less of an indictment on him and more on the position in general and why you don’t pay running backs a big second contract no matter how good they are. Le’veon was nowhere near what he was in New York that he was in Pittsburgh. Now he’s the backup in KC. Gurley broke down as soon as he got his contract and is now on a new team and barely getting touches there. CMC signed and already missed most of this season. Saquon is getting hurt all the time and hasn’t even signed his second contract yet. Yes there’s something to be said about Zeke being healthy but at his contract, it’s just not an efficient allocation of the cap. For the money he’s being paid, you could afford quality backups or shore up the defense. Like rob said, the contract is already signed and we have to move forward but the argument still has to be had so we don’t find ourselves here again. They avoided this issue by not signing DeMarco Murray but couldn’t help themselves with Zeke. The league is moving towards committees now. Moving forward, they can’t give up so many valuable resources like top 5 picks and top of the market contracts to the RB position. It’s just reckless team building

Chase Dyer

SF had like double the TOP. Of course they are going to have more yards. If DAL offense was on the field for 10 more minutes the yards for both teams would obviously be different. DAL special teams was also giving them rough field position, making them drive the field

Cortrell Carpenter

Wow, I heard about 21 excuses for Ezekiel Elliot. Injuries, was he injured weeks 1-10. Was he injured last year. Was he injured when we played the Rams in the playoff game. Was the line better last year.

rayonwarrenrw

Overreaction Monday smh. Everyone saying trade Zeke do me a favor and Google Troy Hambrick

Eric Pesina

So should the rb get paid$$$
